The staff were lovely and quick! Happy to help and translate the menu! Amazing food, particularly the risotto Fantasia which had orange in (It sounds strange, but was incredible)! They also gave us small starters beforehand of some typical Sicilian food, particularly taking into account one of our group who was both lactose and gluten intolerant.

business dinner based on "menu degustazione". 8 unique sample plates starting with granitina di mandorle con riccio di mare e cima di rapa, pasta con le sarde, to end with a mixed dessert a great explosions of tastes. This place in Milan could be a real exclusive place to go. In Palermo due to the location is less popular. If... More

Compared to Rome, Sicily seems to have a more creative food scene and Cuncuma is certainly one of the best. Chef/owner at each table ensuring quality and satisfaction. High end and creative it's a great experience. Menu only in Italian but they do a pretty good job of explaining in English. Go and dare yourself to try new things. Twists... More

As noted by others, and in my earlier review, this place take traditional ingredients and dishes and turns them into something completely new and delicious. We did the tasting menu and loved every bite.

if you are tired of the same classic Sicilian dishes (sarde a beccaficco, pasta alla norma, etc...) this is your place. Very sophisticated ambiance. We had the tasting menu and we were delighted. A bit expensive but it is money well spent.

We just finished an eight course tasting menu at A'Cuncuma. It was an amazing meal. While the dishes each used the traditional local ingredients, the preparation of the dishes were creative and brought these ingredients to a new level of sublime sophistication. This small unpretentious restaurant had a wonderful and helpful staff that complimented the incredible food. If you have... More

Very small cosy restaurant near the Cathedral in Palermo. The menu is small, but every dish is very good. The menu is full of local specialities and the staff is helpful and knows everything about. If you care about what is on your plate highly recommended.

Had the tasting menu which was wonderful, then I asked the Chef if I could come back the next night and get a totally different tasting menu. He agreed and indeed the menu was different and equally thrilling. Do yourself a favor and go. Unfortunately the place does not seem crowded as it should be
