Nino is a legacy. He had built a career and a business around the typical spleen sandwich. His place is for people interested in an authentic spleen sandwich!

Coming into Palermo this is a must to enjoy the ancient street food, I have been coming here at least 4 times, the food is fresh and the people are friendly!

We stumbled upon this street food gem on our way from the Zisa Palace to the centre in Palermo and decided to stop for a quick lunch. The street food is amazing. I had a Panino con milza and a couple of arancini and I was in street food heaven. the place looks like a worker's place, but it is... More

While debating trying the foccaceria, we just had to do it! It was definitely different, but EXCELLENT! Just don't think about what you're eating as you're eating it and you'll quite enjoy the unique taste. Nino and the rest of the staff were quite welcoming and made sure we had a good experience. Great for food on the go!

If you want to have good cheap bite, you will not regret. Keep in mind the place is crowded, service non existing, hygiene questionable, but - Panini con Milza something you will remember - but have stomach ready for something special - Pizza actually tastes also very good and is a good alternative if Milza is something you dont dare... If you really want to be a traveler then you have to eat some local specialities! You should eat here "Focaccia con milza" (I recommend without cheese, just squeeze half lemon on the dark meat) and also Focaccia with Crocche' and finally Focaccia with Panelle. A cold beer will make it perfect.

This was an incredibly fun place to eat. The counter faces the street and there are several tables by the street curb and barrels to dump your paper trash in. We had to try Nino's Signature street food - calf's spleen sandwiches. Sounds yucky, tastes delicious. Then went on to have pasta with salmon, caponata, eggplant and mozzarella on toast,... More

One of the top street food venues, just on the edge of the centre, to where locals travel to have their lunch or dinner in Palermo. Lunch menu is certainly better. One can either take one of the Sicilian dishes away or sit and eat there on plastic tables. (The street food in Sicily is perhaps one of the best... More
