A bit of a walk from our Ballaro' B&B, but it was just what we were looking for. Run by a husband and wife, the place is just so cool inside. We ordered up a bottle of wine, some snacks and a couple of burgers and settled in. Tons of great wine to choose from, and lots of yummy snacks.... More

Hidden in the Via Alloro, you can find this small, cosy enoteca. offering a nice selection of what they call small bites, but which are still good meals. Well prepared good quality. But of course - an enoteca is all about wines. And those you can find in all sorts and tastes, supported by good explanation, advice and suggestions to... More

Friendly service and a pleasant, laidback vibe make this an excellent neighbourhood wine bar. The selection of wines is good, the prices are fair, and the staff are genuinely interested in what you want. A good place to have a pre-dinner glass or two, it's also somewhere you can get a substantial meal without breaking the bank.

We ate here on our first night in Palermo, as our rented apartment was a short walk away and did not want to venture too far until we got a better feel for being out in the dark after dinner. Sad that we were one of three or four tables for the evening. Had three different wines by the glass... More

A wonderful little gem of a place. There is a vast selection of wines, the food is superb, the ambience charming, and the staff very helpful and friendly. As it is very small, it is a good idea to book in advance ~

We came here on a quiet Sunday evening in October after an overwhelming rainstorm -- there were hardly any people there and we had a wonderful cozy meal by candlelight, sitting on thatched stools. Only complaint is that we ordered more than we needed to as the primi were so substantial -- fantastic cheese and salume. Entrees, chicken, pork, were... More

Cano Enoteca was just what we were looking for. It was tough to find, and when we got there the place was packed. They found a spot at the bar for us and a table 15 minutes later. The wine was great and the atmosphere informal an friendly. The food, while not fancy was excellent and went well with the... More

Intimate, select, classy and a real treat - this compendious, fabulously well-stocked and staffed wine-bar has everything that the discerning oenophile (and gourmand) could want; an unbelievable selection of wines, great and knowledgeable staff and good food too. Tucked away on Via Alloro, away from the centre and towards the sea, it's a hidden gem!

A wonderful enoteca with a wide selection of good wine, artisan beer plus delicious food, salume and cheese platter, roast chicken and pork and more. The owner was delightful and very helpful with choosing the wine and an explanation of the menu. The room is atmospheric and it all made for a great evening ... put Cana Enoteca on the... More
