Very welcoming and helpful with the menu and wine list. Food was delicious, and paired perfectly with the wine.

We got this tip from tripadvisor and thought to try it out... we loved it so much that we went ghere 2 nights in a row. The owener is super nice and knows his way around good wine. The food is amazing and has a great price. The atmosphere is cozy and takes you way back... we absolutely loved it!... More

We really enjoyed this place. We shared a plate comprising a selection of cold meats and cheeses, and then a sensational cooked dish of Sicilian rabbit. We love wine, so it was great to discuss the wines of Sicily with the staff who then selected the perfect bottle to accompany our meal. Inexpensive as well!

Food is 100% fresh and really good. Wine is just great and the staff knows how to advice you without ripping you off. It's the second time I've been there and I haven't been disappointed once again. Highly recommended.

Great to find an old fashioned wine bar with a huge selection and the staff with the knowledge to guide you through. English speaking as well which helped in this case! Obviously I opted for a wine tour of Sicily that evening and was introduced to several wines (and grapes) I had not encountered before. The food was simple and... More

A bit of a walk from our Ballaro' B&B, but it was just what we were looking for. Run by a husband and wife, the place is just so cool inside. We ordered up a bottle of wine, some snacks and a couple of burgers and settled in. Tons of great wine to choose from, and lots of yummy snacks.... More

Hidden in the Via Alloro, you can find this small, cosy enoteca. offering a nice selection of what they call small bites, but which are still good meals. Well prepared good quality. But of course - an enoteca is all about wines. And those you can find in all sorts and tastes, supported by good explanation, advice and suggestions to... More

Friendly service and a pleasant, laidback vibe make this an excellent neighbourhood wine bar. The selection of wines is good, the prices are fair, and the staff are genuinely interested in what you want. A good place to have a pre-dinner glass or two, it's also somewhere you can get a substantial meal without breaking the bank.
