Nice square pizzas in a lovely Mexican style pizzeria. Nice staff specking even French. Large tables for groups. Where to meet the youth of Palermo.

Recommended to us by Villa Igiea. Very friendly people, large indoor space with an outdoor space, solid service and truly first rate pizza. My gluten free margherita was exceptional. The menu is only in Italian but you will figure it out. Pasta as well that...we did not try. The cashier's cute little daughters were running around at the end. A very local great experience.More
Grazie AJJPDakota per avere condiviso la tua bella esperienza, a presto!
Delicious pizzas, great 4 cereal beer and an especially nice pistachio tiramisu... Service was friendly and attentive. Would recommend.
Simple pizza done very well. No nonsense stuff - order food and <10mins later it turns up hot and fresh. Best pizza we had in Sicily. If going on weekend, expect to wait if not pre-booked as it gets busy. We were fortunate with timing...getting there early due my child.More
If you live long enough, you eventually eat a restaurant that is over-hyped and results in a dining experience that is downright comical and awful. We had that at Frida. Although we were "blessed" to get a table on walk-up, as we saw others getting...turned away by the droves, we later felt that those that were turned away were blessed and we were cursed. After getting seated, it took 25 minutes for our waitress to stop by our table. We had to bother a bus-boy to ask why we were being ignored, which must have prompted the attention from our waitress. So, the bus-boy was the most customer service friendly in the entire place. In the times of Covid, I have an endless level of appreciation and respect for waitstaff. Our waitress did not deserve that respect. Perhaps she didn't care. Her service was awful. To top it off, the pizza really wasn't that great. If it was, we may have had a different experience. We took home the extra, but never ate it. Tossed it upon departure from our place. I would never eat here again, even if it was the last pizza restaurant in Palermo.More

Possibly the best in Sicily. Very busy, even on a rainy evening. If you want the outdoor seating you must book. As usual not much punch on a fiery pizza, but they supply the slightly hot oil and chilli flakes.
They are high quality pizza. We love it. We dont reservation but they accepted us. We ordered Gio and Truiffu Romane Pizza. We like it.
Grazie "Kaan A" per la tua recensione ;). A presto...
It was great until the bill came and the 2 focaccias we were enticed to order were charged at horrendous prices!! It ruined the whole experience 😡More

My husband and I ordered a bufala margarita and a bottle of water (see photo). The English menu was barely legible and our cell internet was not working to see their menu online. No worries. We figured each pizza would cost 8-12 euros (in Catania...it was 9 euro so let’s even say 12). I would never think we would be charged separately for the buffalo cheese 3 euros and another charge called volcanotto. I can’t seem to find out what that means other than I’m guessing it’s the black chard crust. That charge was 1 euro! For what?! So for 2 bufalo margaritas and 1 bottle of water (with the forced service charge) we paid 32 euros. Are you freaking kidding me? The pizza tasted just like the other dozen pizzas we’ve been eating in Sicily. Nothing special enough to warrant being ripped off. Very bad business behavior. My husband and I walked away in a daze, confused but as soon as I realized we’d been fleeced, I came on to trip advisor. To anyone reading this, it’s not worth going here. Unless you want to experience the fleecing, I would look for a more honest business. Honestly if this is Palermo then I think we may cut our trip short here.More

We had a lovely evening here. We turned up at 7 on the dot for opening to book a table for later on in the evening. Once we returned at 8.30 I thought this had been a bit unnecessary, but the place quickly filled up...after us and I’m glad I didn’t take any chances. The menu is available on a QR code, but I had difficulty loading this on 4g and didn’t seem to connect to wifi, luckily I already had a tab open from earlier with the menu loaded. The menu is thorough and detailed with different sections of different types of pizzas, it takes a bit of time to work through it. All pizzas that came out of the kitchen looked excellent and we enjoyed what we had throughly. I can’t remember the exact name, but the square/filled crust mortadella pistachio and truffle was a triumph. A wee bit more expensive than some other places but happy to pay for what we hadMore

We waited for half an hour to order our pizza after our appetizers. After half an hour, and second request to a server, we finally got our order in for our pizzas. Pizza is hands down incredible. Maybe the servers have too many tables, I...don’t know but we weren’t the only ones forgotten. The Frida pizza is unforgettable.More

I've eaten pizza in almost every corner in Italy, including the best well known in Naples, but I must insist that Frida Pizzeria is just absolutely amazing! From the staff (including the owner), to the spot and the fresh ingredients, everything makes this place just...outstanding!More

This is a 'Must Visit' Pizzeria in Palermo. We were told it is the best and it lived up to all our expectations. The food was amazing, the staff really helpful and friendly and it had a wonderful atmosphere. I'ts a bit tucked away but...well worth the effort to find it. Thank you for a wonderful eveningMore

We’ve been there twice, the first time was one of the best experiences we had in palermo, the staff was extra nice and the food was also just perfect. the second time we expected the same but we were a little bit disappointed when the...staff didn’t really care about us. the food was still really good but not exactly what we ordered.More
