Food was delicious and cheap. The staff speak a little bit of English which is helpful. I'd recommend getting a mix of things and sharing to try everything.

Being advised to go there to do something very local from the hotel, we went to the place a bit after lunch time, early afternoon. The place is hidden yet close to the main roads so it wont be too difficult to find. Despite that lunch time was gone, place was packed with locals (Or simply Italians) ordering the food... More

My wife and I had some of the delicious street food served here while on a walking tour around Palermo. The croquettes were excellent and the price is right. There are loads of similar places in Palermo, but this was one of the better ones that we tried, and it is worth searching for if you are in the neighborhood.

Having read the reviews about this place I went there and ordered 80 pieces of diverse pieces for a party, everyone like them Very good quality and good value snacks.

Don't expect anywhere to sit down but do get great Italian fast food. Interesting choices of arancines, mini pizza type things and a Sicilian speciality of meat in a sweet pastry. Definitely worth a look at if you are in Palermo, not least because it is incredibly cheap for a snack

Push your way in to this place, on a side street, and you'll get the Palermo panelle and croquettes of your dreams! Absolutely the best in "street" food, super-fresh (you sometimes have to wait for it to finish cooking) and VERY inexpensive! Friendly, efficient staff. Right near the post office.

Stumbled upon this little place down an insignificant side alley, brought to my attention by the sandwich board announcing the historic rotisserie. Lucky for us, there were just three other parties being served before us. I noticed a ticketing machine for allocating numbers, indicating just how busy this place can get. And after our small sampling of delicacies, I certainly... More

We found this "Rosticceria Antica" in a hidden courtyard by following a sign off the Via Ruggiero Settimo just a few blocks from the old city. No menu, no English, but just point to taste a selection of various Arancine (fried rice balls) and Timballi (fried pasta balls) at 0.70 Euro apiece. Food was good.

You know a place must be authentic when there are no English reviews on Trip Advisor. I went to this little hole in the wall, seeking it out because it was listed in the Rough Guide. If you want to know the Palermo version of fast food (other than a panini), this is IT. (McDonald's is around the corner as... More
