We knew about this place from passing by through Via Alloro as the lady owner gave us her card whilst we browsed the menu for a future visit. Our return a few days later was truly worth it. Each dish we ordered was refined, looked brilliant, tasted as if there was no tomorrow. Generally, a very good menu to choose... More

Superb choice with some excellent recommendations. A lovely restaurant with the finest food. The staff were warm and welcoming and the owner could not be more engaging. The young lady who makes jewellery was lovely also.

I forward the suggestion I received from the receptionist who introduced me here: call and ask for pasta with sea urchins. Do it in the afternoon to ensure enough time for the cook to ask fishermen for the seafood. You will not regret it.

Small, elegant restaurant steeped in Sicilian history. (ask to see the book of the making of the film 'The Leopard' and discover the owner appeared as an extra as a young boy) Quality to match the best in Sicily. But remember, it's a ristorante not a trattoria and priced accordingly.

Superb and sensibly priced. Wonderful lemon infused shrimp risotto and Spada delicately involtini with sweet stuffing followed by cannoli a typical Siciliana desert. The chef will write up the risotto recipe for me. Everyone highly attentive. Thank you! Ciao Grazie.

We were lucky to discover this restaurant in the old city and then to find it again at dinner time. It's small but elegant. The owner was very welcoming, especially no doubt because one of our party spoken some Italian. I was intrigued by a starter described as "sardine cake." It was a mold consisting of mashed sardines and some... More

Visited as this was close to our B and B. Got off to a bad start as the "owner" wanted us to choose what he recommended! Eventually had a prawn starter which was strange as prawns were raw. Then had a lovely steak. However evening completely ruined when we asked for coffee .. Cappuccino and we were told this wasn't... More

We had a very good lunch in this attractive restaurant. The owner is very friendly and showed us several books that he thought we would be interested in, including one with photos regarding the Leopard film, which was filmed in his neighborhood and which he was pictured in at age 7. We had an excellent fish caponata; salad with oranges... More
