I can imagine Gordon Ramsay bellowing at the staff here. They deserve it. Do not, under any circumstances, eat here. We made the error of trying this place as it was late and other venues were busy, otherwise we would have left. We waited ages to give our order, another age for the food, and when it arrived it was... More

I waited 30 minutes a bottle of water, and one hour for my plate, I took a pasta "casarecce alla mediterranea" with fish and "finocchietto selvatico",it was horrible because the fish was non existent and there was just the finocchietto full of filamet like fishbone! The bill was too expensive respect the food quality, because the plait cost was 12€... More

Maybe the cook had an off day, otherwise there is something wrong in this restaurant. Plates full of food left on the tables. Also our mozzarella salad. Looked and tasted terrible. And then also wait 20 minutes for warm beer. Disappointing.

You get approached at all the restaurants in this vicinity by pretty young girls who promise a good meal and then you find yourself being processed by sometimes arrogant wait staff. The evening meal for us started reasonably well, but honestly, all the restaurants are serving the same old thing! We both started with the tomato bruschetta which consisted of... More

We stopped to have dinner here because the restaurant we wanted was booked out. It looked fine from the outside and the interior was well done but the food was boring. How is that even possible to make Italian food boring? The portions for ‘starters’ were too large. Starters were: eggplant/tomato - was oily, this is a cold dish and... More

We thought this restaurant looked nice and a waiter directed us to a table. There were menus on the table. After waiting for 15 mins no one had come to ask us what we wanted to drink or taken our order. We decided to leave. If they couldn't even get our drinks order how one would we have to wait... More

We arrived Palermo by train with from Taormina, and after settling in at our hotel, we wanted the real thing: Outdoor eating at an Italian Pizza restaurant. Our friend who has a sure nose for just this, led us straight to Al Covo de' i Beati Paoli across the street from the Garibaldi garden. A bottle of Prosecco before diving... More

For once we didnt check in advance: maybe their basic pizzas are edible, But sure our mussle soup wasnt (cold and poor taste/some half crude mussels in some 7 mm tomato liquid broth). Nor was the brocoli pasta, the digestion of which may even be associated to an unexpected intestinal event of one of our kids few hours after-all fine... More

We chanced upon the restaurant as the preferred one was booked out. It was only a short walk from our intended destination and whilst it looked like a tourist trap , the volume of local people intimated this may not be that bad. So it proved. The seating outside had a great atmosphere , over looking the park and the... More

We were part of a tour group that had dinner here one night. We were supposed to eat inside but because it was so nice out our guide asked them to seat us outside which they scurried to do. We had a good experience with them although it did take awhile for us to get our food...the food was wonderful,... More
