Great service and great Sicilian food which comes along with friendly English speaking waiters. We was first greeted with bread and a sparkling orange tasting wine. Food doesn't take too long to get to the table. At the end we was given a shot of, what I guess was, chocolate liquor, nice!

The restaurant was recommended by the concierge of our hotel and it was an amazing experience! We had the pasta with shrimps and carrots, the risotto with oyster shrimps and cocos and the raw fish. Each dish was very special and just outstanding! A must when you are in Palermo!

After a disappointing dinner the night before we pressed the Villa Igiea concierge for a welcoming and local restaurant serving creative and excellent food. BelleOtero Ristorante was Salvatore's spot on suggestion. Walking thru the hip neighborhood bursting with young people enjoying the evening, our expectations were heightened. From the moment we were greeted at the door (after we found the... More

While we could have handled ordering in Italian the waiter spoke to us in English and we thought then he must understand our language. When our food came we realized that was a mistake. We got two raw fish platters we did not order but we decided to make the best of it and frankly they were very fresh and... More

We had to ring the doorbell to be allowed to enter the beautiful restaurant. Our waiters were great and helped us choose from a local based menu. The seafood was excellent as were the wines. Will definitely go back if in Palermo!

I had the muscle and clams to start they were amazing and season to perfection. The staff were attentive and friendly. Had a really good wine list. Well worth a visit for a authentic scilan twist on medertiaran classics. The trio chocolate dessert is a must!

A great way to end the holiday in this gem of a restaurant. Attentive and friendly service in a basement style building - remember to ring the door bell to get in. Well crafted dishes of high quality with a vast array of wine choices to match. Definitely more suited to foodies with an appreciation for local Sicilian meal options.... More

This was the most delicious dinner. ..from antipasto to dessert...the waiter bright me a glass of delicious red wine that almost made me weep....so smooth, so rich. ..yummy. Ok, the doorbell thing is super charming, you get escorted down the stairs, it's beautiful. The staff is attentive and diligent..HERE was that Sicilian hospitality I heard so much about. I had... You ring the bell and a waiter opens the street door and guides you down some stairs to an intimate cellar that has been rendered into a light and airy restaurant with maybe only 10 tables. The menu is varied and very well laid out for you make the critical decisions. The food was imaginative, well executed on the plate... More
