My husband and I always love going off the beaten track to find a great ristorante in Palermo, but we didn’t know about this place, tucked away on a little side street, Via Francesco Riso. However, I took it as good sign upon entering there...was a huge basket of fresh mushrooms, which had just arrived from our local Nebrodi Mountains. But honestly, “good” just doesn’t cover it. Everything at Quattro Mani from start to finish was truly exceptional. There were so many delicious possibilities for antipasti from their normal menu to their fuori menu (which literarily, translates as “off the menu” aka “tonight’s specials”) that we decided to share. As a rule of thumb, in Italy, always ask if there is a “fuori menu.” We shared a crudité of shrimp and fish, a polpette of chicory, and naturally, a huge plate of lightly sautéed fried mushrooms. There are no words, except divine, simply divine! For our next course, our friends tried their pasta with sautéed porcini mushrooms because why not? …after, what we had just eaten. My husband and I decided to try their Alalunga fish special. Alalunga or (‘long wing’) is a Mediterranean fish, which the chef prepared in a classic Sicilian all’ agro dolce; a sweet and sour sauce of vinegar and onions and pepe rossa, if I’m not mistaken? Again, excellent! And personally, I didn’t think it good get any better until I tried their dessert. I have no idea what the name of this dessert was, but it was a blend of artisanal chocolate, orange, panna, and love. Again, there are no words. Except, thank you… thank you to our friends for this unforgettable night, and thank you to the chef and to everyone at Quattro Mani that made this, such a memorable night. Ci vedremo (we’ll see you soon!)More

I came here twice with my daughters on our first time holiday to Palermo. The food is high quality (I loved the swordfish) and the staff is very attentive. They change the menu frequently. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

Good ambiance to this restaurant and very professional staff. Food was a delight. Linginne with swordfish was sensational and tuna with onion marmalade was just as good.

Overall the place itself is nicer than average, you can tell it aims for a different market. The atmosphere was quite formal yet relaxed, the place being empty helped. The service itself was not the fastest I’ve experienced. My wife did not enjoy the octopus,...it was chewy, we were told that’s they way it’s supposed to be when it’s fresh. However the dish was quickly changed. The rest of the food was better than average however given the prices i would have expected more attention to detail. My starter was good however too much lemon in my opinion, yes the menu did say it was marinated. My main was very nice. My wife enjoyed her new starter and her main course too. All in all a good experience.More

This is a gem of a restaurant. This is owned and run by a family business restaurant, which make the restaurant quiet, homey. Everything is perfect from the very competent chefs both Tiara and her husband and friendly waiters to the delicious Sicilian food and...excellent wines. Outdoor seating on a very quiet street or inside dining in beautiful rooms including the huge beautiful painting painted by Tiara's father and her daughter. A very reasonable prices for this kind of quality. They huge selections of best wines in Italy. Beat meal we had during our trip to Italy in July 2020. Highly recommended Both cards and cash accepted.More

This is a high class restaurant with excellent, locally-sourced food and an expert husband-wife duo in the kitchen. We had dorada, swordfish and steak and they were all delicious. I finished my meal with an exquisite, light, cassata. We had a local sparkling wine, Neroluce,...which was great (serious competition for Prosecco). Not cheap eats, by any means, but good valueMore

We ate here on our first night in Sicily and it was a great way to start a vacation. Starting with the fried sardines, which were very fresh and perfectly prepared, the best caponata any of us had ever tasted, and swordfish that reminded me...why I'll only eat this in the Mediterranean -- perfection. Service was extremely friendly, the street side al fresco dining was very pleasant, and the wine recommendations (both red and white bottles) were spot on. Our favorite of 3 dinners in Palermo.More

We had an amazing meal here - one of our faves in Sicily - on our second night in Palermo. The quality of the ingredients and the care and detail that is obvious in every aspect of the food was unparalleled. The service was incredibly...attentive and thoughtful and the dining room was elegant and inviting. A beautiful night!More

We happened upon this restaurant--the dining room is very attractive, although we ended up sitting outside. Great menu. Great service. A perfectly delightful meal.

The restaurant has different plates every day. They depend on what they can buy at the local markets. We ate pasta with clams and roasted fish and white wine paying less then 30 euro each one. It was not expensive.
