Good food good atmosphere

We dined here with another couple and really enjoyed our meals. Service was attentive and very professional. We only ordered entrees and desserts. The ravioli was excellent as was the tuna. The desserts didn't live up to the entrees but they erre acceptable.

La Cambusa is a restaurant in Piazza Marina. Delightful sitting in the open air on a warm evening listening to the kids playing in the piazza. The food was very good with an excellent mixed antipasti of local ingredients followed by sea bass covered in a rosti type potato. The wine was good. The restaurant was crowded with locals, always... La Cambusa was reccommended as a good restaurant but for us it was only ok. The food was good and the prices avarage. Nothing special. What bothered us were the people passing by the tables with performances asking for money while you are eating. This was not fair...

We visited this restaurant because it was reccomended to us. Well, the food is good. But the portions are quite small. We missed some vegetables along with the main course.

On a Wednesday evening in Palermo, would you prefer sullen waiters or tasteless food? Actually, you can have both at La Cambusa, one of Palermo's tackiest and poorest value restaurants. To be fair, our starters - sardine meatballs (polppette), and mussels, were tasty though not outstanding. The trouble came with the main dishes: a plate of gluey ricotta and fava... More

We had a fantastic meal here, I had the seafood risotto which I would definitely recommend! Great outdoor seating area, great service and wonderful food :) We got there early (for Italy anyway!) at 7.30pm on a Thursday and had no issue getting a table!

This is the place for the freshest and brightest fish that we found in Palermo. When we didn't recognise the Italian names of some on offer, they were quickly brought to the table to see and to choose. Ten minutes later, the chosen one arrived, crisply golden grilled, sparkling just with lemon and salt. I had the famous - and... More

We visited this restaurant having seen it given good reviews on Trip Advisor. We got there just in time to get one of the few remaining tables. Everyone in after us had to give their name and wait for a table. It was completely rammed. It's advisable to get there around 8/8.30 to get a table. The starter of steamed... More
