Very best of Sicilian specialties such as street food. The arancini are one of best as advised my many locals. The service is typical southern Italian.... slow and not caring. Stick to the street food section of the menu. Enjoy

Very over cooked tuna, rice balls cold in the middle, twice, even after sending it back once. Over priced for this poor quality. Italians were eating the burgers and the street food, probably a better bet.

We came here for the rice balls and were not disappointed. The arancini al burro which are balls of rice cooked with saffron surrounding a center of prosciutto cubes in ricotta and mozzarella were sublime. DH had the rice ball al ragu which had a center of ground meat and peas cooked like a bolognese sauce, and he, who is... More

Busy, popular restaurant in the old quarter. Tasty local food, good sized portions, reasonable value.

A surprisingly nice meal in a wonderful public piazza. Definitely some difficulty with waitstaff.. they brought us red wine when we ordered white; they charged us for coffee that we didn't order, etc. But, these problems were resolved and didn't diminish the nice meal in a lovely setting with lot's of happy, normal people around us. After going to so... More

We struggled to find good restaurants in Palermo with a nice ambiance. The food was average, not one of our favorite meals but the ambiance on the square was nice and lively. I would recommend sticking to the antipasti and "street food" than a pasta dish. Worth checking out.

Although every guidebook and person seems to highlight this as the place to go, the food is no better than at many other places, and the service is patchy (at best!). There's nothing actually wrong with the place, it's just not particularly special.

Stick to the classics and you won't be disappointed: focaccia and panelle. Nice terrace on the square, perfect for summer evenings. Prepare to long waiting and so-so service. More pricy than the average of the area.
