Propaganda Sicilian Gourmet Bakery is an informal but cosy natural food lab in the heart of Catania's historical center. We serve all: vegan, vegeterian or meat and fish fans. Either for a quick lunch, a retriving drink or a relaxing dinner you can enjoy our combination of 100% natural street food style Pizza and Scacciata or one our unique Sandwiches: organic whole-wheat low gluten Timilia homemade Focaccia bread stuffed with top sicilian typical delicacies. From fresh seasonal veggies to Avocado, our selection of sicilian PDO cheese, red tuna fillet and smoked sword fish, but also black pork cold cuts and Polpetta, our first class organic grass feed beef burger. For light eaters fresh potato chips topped with tasty homemade sauces or the surprising salad of the day . Sicilian craft beers, a glass of organic Etna wines, a wide selection on no-alchol drinks: just grab the drink that fits best your meal! This is mostly a sandwich shop with some other small plates on the menu. They take Pride in the Sicilian slow food culture and all ingredients are really fresh and tasty. There are not so many vegetarian or vegan options but the ones offered on the menu are delish. Also, paninis are very inexpensive at 5 euro. What a steal!!

I visited here with my girlfriend in November 2017. The owner is very friendly and kind. The food is healthy, filling and delicious. I would strongly recommend Propaganda to any vegans or vegetarians looking for a tasty and nutritious lunch

Nice 1: good and tasty food, good for veggies. Local products, all baked in the restaurant. Close to the main square, go there!

Food was extremely tasty and healthy at the same time... and you could taste it. I recommend the spinach and feta calzone.
Owner was extremely warm and welcoming, very polite and enjoyed talking with us about how we are from the states. One of our favorite meals so far in Catania and we will definitely return.

Food made with mainly organic ingredients and a lot of love. Different filled baked goods to choose from. The raw ingredients are also displayed next to it. So treat yourself with high quality Italian food.

This is the second time we come back - it is now a must go every time we are in Catania. The owners are young and are definitely bringing a nice concept with high quality food and very reasonable prices in a great location. Everything is local, organic, they use all ancient grains for their bread all hand made. Light, tasty, good for the earth, your health and your wallet! Highly recommend it.

My friend and I stumbled in here after looking on trip advisor for a good, local, healthy restaurant. Allesandro and his staff were more than helpful to explain everything on their menu and how it is made. Everything is local, organic and hand made. That does not take away from the unbelievable flavors in their food though! My friend and I have eaten out every night since we have been in Catania for the past two weeks, and this have been our best meal by far! Being from the US, we have had our fair share of buffalo burgers. I have to stay, this is the best I have ever had. From the home-made whole wheat focaccia bread to the buffalo patty and local cheese, the burger was perfect until the last bite. And I can't say enough about how passionate and welcoming Allesandro was about his food and restaurant . We will definitely be returning to try out the rest of the menu!!!

Surprisingly good, delicious and authentic food. Burgers are really fantastic. I would highly recommend you to taste their hand made chocolate variates. Beer and wine menu are also satisfactory. Great owner.

It absolutely deserves to be tried. The quality is really and truely reliable, they have both simple and "special" ingredients (ex. from leek to hemp oil) which are mixed into amazingly tasteful and FILLING sandwiches. Treat yourself without compromising on the feeling of a healthy home-made-like meal.

New menus are waiting for you, it is about time to try out our special Scacciata Pizza and Focaccia all made with top cheeses, veggies, homemade sauces and pesto and for meat fans don't forget our organic grass feed beef burger.
