Friendly service, cosy decor, and amazingly good value. We had the €12 set lunch while waiting for our bus. Generous portions of well cooked pasta, grilled meat (we had veal and horse), beer, and a surprise of sweet wine and biscotti to finish. Our favourite...meal in Catania!More

Was pretty good and typical Italian restaurant. The sea dishes were pretty delicious, and Spaghetti alla Norma was great. We loved the ambiance and the guys working there were quite friendly.

All the dishes were so good we couldn’t decide on a favourite. Very reasonable prices (average 10-15€ per dish) as well. Service was good, though a little slow which is understandable as this place was packed!

Our hotel recommended this restaurant which was just around the corner from our hotel. We arrived just before 8 and the tables quickly filled up, we soon realised why. The service was excellent but what was really splendid was the superb cooking, whether something as...simple as a pasta dish or the grilled fish. We couldnt eat everything we ordered and so we took my husband's pizza back with us - all the way to the UK and it was still delicious the next day warmed up - that is a first for me. The pizza by the way was the pistachio with porcini mushrooms - divine!More

Just round the corner from our hotel, we went a couple of times during our week in Catania. The staff are friendly and the food is good. Because there were a lot of fish dishes, which I don’t eat and also disconcertingly to our British...eyes, the odd meal featuring horse meat, I only ate veggie dishes and have to say they were superb. There seemed to be plenty of local people eating there which is always a good sign. One time we shared a mixed starter of lots of little dishes, mostly vegetables but also some cheese & salami. It was good. Would recommend!More

We choose this restaurant for our last dinner in Catania and we could choose a better ending for our vacation. It was written they open at 6:30 pm. We arrived at 7 pm and told they are opening at 07:30. When returned. Someone introduced himself...as the chef and offered us to start with socialism starters of about 10 very small dishes and one pasta dish to share stating this is his best dish. He didn’t offered any main course : seafood, fish or meat. It was a bit strange, but he so recommended, so we ordered accordingly. The food was nice, but not more than it and it is definitely not a dish I would call a flagship dish. We were the first guests of the restaurant and then more arrived and when we saw the dishes they received, we felt a bit misled.More
