Talè is a large restaurant in a "palazzo" not far from the railway station and centre of Catania. The choice of dishes is wide. The service is swift and friendly. The restaurant seems to be popular and fills up very quickly. The food is very good. So good that we returned the next evening! The fish dishes we had were... More

Well, i've been there for dinner and i can say was awesome, we had fresh seafood as you can still feel the smell of the sea, very nice selection of wine and dessert, wow sicilian dessert. Friendly staff deliver us a good service and the owner Toti was just so kind with us. Good food, good wine, familiar atmosphere, what... More

We had our New Years Eve 'Gran Cenone' meal at Tale. This consisted of a set menu for the evening so although I cannot comment on the regular menu items, I can say that the numerous courses that were served to us with were very fresh, well presented and ranged from good to delicious. Although not the most delicate or... More

If you are a traveler don't pay attention to negative reviews that it takes long to order, long to get your drink your food or your bill. Here is Italy, you are not at your home town, try to enjoy things the way they are here. The food is very good a little in the expensive but house wine is... More

Very pleasant outside eating area. Had the best veal steak ever, with grilled vegetables. Waiter's wine recommendations were perfect - for me! Avoid sitting by the speakers.

We went for dinner in a group tour, but the food quality is surprisingly good, has an alfresco portion which was breezy in the summer heat. Recommended.

Given the good previous reviews, this was a disappointing experience. An order for 2 drinks took 15 minutes before they arrived, the food took far longer than it should have done, the bill (and then a waiter with the card machine) took an age to turn up. The food itself was good but it feels like the restaurant is being... More

We had a good dinner here. pizza was good, as was the pasta, and the dessert. friendly staff. A bit noisy acoustics. A bit on the expensive side. Good wine by the glass.A bit a messy menu.

So...where do we start? Offered us gluten-free pasta only to find later that was not possible. Menu looked good, even clever, as it was divided into specialties of different Sicily provinces, but it took 20 min to get our order in. We should have left then. 1 hour and 45 minutes after we sat down some of our food arrived.... More

The Tale enjoys an excellent location in the center of Catania, close to the central train station. Martyrs' Square is the crossroads for major urban and suburban roads. Ample parking (including buses) surrounding the palace Ferrarotto (Great monument of Liberty Catania nineteenth century), which insists on building the restaurant. Only genuine food meat fish and pizza.
