Service is rapid and friendly. While we live in Istanbul, we are not used to such sumptuous servings of a large variety of sea food. Ayvalik in Turkey might compete with Catania fish market and its restoration.

Slap in the middle of the fish market one would expect a wider choice. If one is not in a hurry then it's ok as service was slow. But with a choice of mixed antipasti as a starter for Eur15 its not bad. Toilet facilities could be better though.

After strolling through the fish market, and being fish lovers, we thought this restaurant would be a good idea for lunch. On entering we had the distinct feeling that locals and foreigners are treated differently, with the latter not as welcome. Locals entering the restaurant after us were served before us whilst we were treated off-handedly by a smirking waiter,... More

The service was extremely slow and the food was terrible. We both ordered pasta with swordfish and eggplant. Only a few pieces tiny pieces of swordfish and 3 tiny pieces of eggplant. The bathroom was disgusting. Had to stand by the door to try and pay. Would never go back there.

Expected this to be a really good experience as this fish restaurant is in the heart of Catanias famous fish market. The fish we chose was served to us not in steaks but shredded. It was cooked I would say by someone with little experience and maybe a stand in for an evening. The door was constantly left open as... More

Visited this restaurant on a recommendation. We ordered mixed fried fish ( for one ) and a calamari. Food arrived fairly speedily, no complaints there. Quality was 6/10, fairly average . When the bill arrived, we noticed a difference of 2 Euro in the restaurants favor, item displayed on menu at 8 Euro, and charged at 10 euro ! When... More

The most amazing sea food I have ever tasted. Everything is so fresh and tasty, we were served the local seafood specialties, it was really a memorable gastronomic experience. Highly recommend.

Slap bang in the centre of the fish market, this place is adored by the locals. There were constant queues for tables when we visited. Well, if these fellahs can't produce fresh fish, no one can. If fish is your thing - make a visit . Good food, quick efficient service. It's fish HQ.

This is a wonderful restaurant in Catania. The Chef performed like an artist preparing an elaborate seafood platter. We were welcomed with Perseco and an appetizer. The mussel soup was wonderful as was everything. Highly recommended.
