We had an amazing meat and cheese plate at Picasso...good variety with nice condiments. It was much bigger than anticipated, so the mains we ordered to follow were a bit of a mistake. We had some nice wine, though the service was too slow for ordering by the glass so we ordered a bottle after waiting a while for a... More

We came across this great tratoria by accident when we were looking for another recommended place. It was absolutely one of the best places to experience the food from this area. Derfinitely try the tagliatelle with porcini muschrooms and pistacios. I think I could have eaten two portions alone, and I only allowed my husband one bite. They also have... More

Great to place with friendly staff and good food. Only thing is that the bars around don't make the best ambiance but a good experience overall

The food is pretty good and the restaurant is attractive with nice jazz music playing in the background. Wines are on shelves around the restaurant and you go and look, have a discussion with the server who, it seems, sets the price based upon her assessment of what you might be willing to pay. We paid more than double for... More

Visited this restaurant last night. Staff were very helful especially since neither my hudband or I can speak Italian. Food was excellent and the lemon cake we shared was lovely. Would recommend and definitely visit again.

This restaurant stood out for us in terms of its warm lighting and of course, wine bottles-lined walls with a welcoming antipasti buffet, and the friendly service of the husband and wife team, and their professional and polite waiter. We were pampered by them during the evening, and despite the fact that they were fully booked for the evening, with... More

Great service and great food with a lot of locals eating here. Amazing to just sit and watch the Italians eat! Dish after dish with delicacies.. We could only have one pasta and then we were full! I wish I could eat like an Italian !

We ate here off the back of reviews on TA and were not disappointed. Shared the fried fish and the caprese salad for starters, large portions of each. Our mains were the veal fillet with wild mushrooms and the pork leg off the specials board - both were beautifully cooked. The atmosphere was great, and very relaxed. Many wines to... More

We found this restaurant on a quiet street in Catania. The staff were extremely helpful when we indicated that we could not speak Italian and explained all of the special menu items. The food was delicious and was complimented by local wine. Would definitely recommend if you want to experience local cuisine at reasonable prices.
