This casual restaurant is ideally located by Piazza del Duomo and the atmosphere is nice.
The food is appealing and the portions very large for a relatively cheap price. It is difficult to chose from the very extensive menu. The Spritz, the Viola salad and the vegetable tempura we ordered, were all good. When you eat on site, they could serve in plates to avoid using these large plastic boxes.

So basically the food was very tasty and fresh, I had an eggs bagel. I was quite disappointed though because the menu said it'd come with a mustard - honey sauce, it came in fact with regular mustard. Also the side salad was only dry rocket without any dressing or oil.
The employees do not understand simple English which was quite hard, also they let me wait for long after eating and I actually wanted to reorder more coffee so I had to go inside and let them know.
I think the employees should be more focused on a positive customer experience than standing inside all the time chatting with the chef. Except of the service the food was good and not too pricey either.

Cuore Fresco serves a nice selection of sandwiches, burgers, and various appetizer-type plates. €18 for a pretty tasty lunch that includes a glass of prosecco is not a bad deal. Location around the corner from the cathedral square is quite central too.

I went there for a quick breakfast and must say I was very disappointed...the service was slow and the person who took out order did not seem to be pleased with our visit, she looked like we were bothering her. Although the coffee was good and also the mini cake we had was ok, the bill was unjustifiably expensive. They charged "coperto" for 2 people, € 1.50 per person! I have never seen such a thing in Italy for breakfast...also considering that we had paper table cloth and wooden tea spoons (they didn't even give us a proper tea spoon with the cappuccino). I will never ever go back there, I felt I was treated badly only because I am a tourist.

Delicious, fresh and healthy... slightly unexpected 🙂
We stumbled on this cafe while looking for a place to have a late lunch. Although from the outside it looked like your typical “Pret a...” or a similar chain, this cafe surprised us by a large variety of freshly made salads, juices and smoothies, paninis and other healthy foods.
Not expensive for the quality.

What we ate was not of our preference. However, it is just a 2 person opinion. The chicken in the Caesar salad was not very cooked, the chicken burger was ok and we also had fries with pesto and pistachio and melon wrapped in ham.
Overall, it was ok. It has vegan options, gluten free and vegan dessert and the service is good.
We were a bit unfortunate with the person who took our order as he seemed a bit asleep or disoriented but the others(as I saw from other tables) were excellent.
We loved how the food was served on a wooden "plate".
We did not appreciate the plastic tableware as to plastic-free options but due to covid, it is understandable.

They cheated us on the account; we took an imperial starter including a bottle of wine from their menu costing €40 for two people and we found ourselves on the receipt with mozzarella for €35 and a bottle of wine for €16. When I realized it at home, after scrambling and not knowing what to say, they hung up on me.
I should have checked the receipt carefully also because, before me, some tourists left screaming about problems with the bill. Evidently it is their usual way of doing things.

Le abbiamo già risposto sui vari siti dove ha scritto le stesse cose. Le rispondiamo anche qui perché riteniamo che i nostri clienti devono essere informati sui fatti. Lei ha prenotato tramite the fork con un offerta che si riferiva ad uno sconto SOLO SUL CIBO. Quando avete ordinato il tagliere imperiale clvi è stato spiegato che lo sconto non si applica sul vino ed avete detto nessun problema. Non potete venire adesso a dire che siete stati truffati. During my recent visit to Catania, I had the pleasure of dining at Cuore Fresco, and it was an experience to remember. Situated in a lovely location, this charming eatery offers a warm and welcoming ambiance that immediately puts you at ease.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the panini – quite simply, the best I have ever eaten. Each bite was a perfect blend of fresh ingredients and delightful flavors that left me craving more. The rest of the menu was equally impressive, with a variety of very good food that catered to diverse tastes.
The service at Cuore Fresco was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure a great dining experience. Coupled with good prices, this made for a fantastic value. If you find yourself in Catania, a visit to Cuore Fresco is a must. Highly recommended for its outstanding panini, excellent service, and overall very good food.

Food is very tasty; however they use a lot of plastic for a single use! Forks; knifes and glass were plastic and made for single use only. Moreover, I did not expect that from BIO/Organic place as this place is promoted.
Also plate Was for a single use; but made out of paper. Therefore, each person truly produce too much trash.
Service is too slow. I waited half an hour on my first order: vegan croissant, when place was empty.

Hello and thank you for choosing us. We are pleased you enjoyed your food and we are sorry you had to wait for the croissant. We were out of it so we had to bake it at the moment. That takes time. As for the plastic...ALL OUR PACKAGING IS MADR OUT IF RICE FLOUR AND THEREFORE BIODEGRADABLE! It’s written on all our packaging as well as on the walls inside the restaurant (maybe you sit outside?). WE DO NOT USE PLASTIC and by using biodegradable we also avoid the pollution the dish soap created to the waters. Hope to well one you again in the near future!

I went several times in the past and despite the rudeness of the owner, on average the food has always been good, for me choice addressed by the presence of gluten-free options. But this time they made me wait 25 minutes outside for a raw sandwich and mozzarella to take away. After 15 minutes of waiting I ask for information and I am told by the owner that the command did not start because the line was missing (but when I paid at the time of ordering the line worked very well) they try to make up for the delay by making the sandwich on the spot, without plate it, but I had to send it back twice because they tried to give it to me always in the same condition.

I went with some friends of mine a few days ago. They weren't convinced about going, I insisted because I knew it was one of the few places in the center where you could eat gluten-free and without other ingredients specified by me since I had been there two other times before last evening and I always ate . Nightmare experience last night. Incompetent and very insistent waiters tended to attack the customer when they were the ones who were confused about what to do. Total incompetence, lack of memory and hearing. Rudeness. I truly will never return.

This small restaurant located in a street perpendicular to the Piazza del Duomo is very pleasant. The choice of vegetarian dishes is very complete and the service is very fast. My vegetarian burger was generously garnished and very good. On the other hand, I was a little disappointed by the fries. My almond milk caffe latte was excellent, very smooth and full-bodied. The prices are perhaps a little higher than elsewhere, but that is the price of quality. Small downside however on the very cold side of the person who welcomed me and took my order, but the rest of the staff was friendly and smiling.

Very welcoming place in the center of Catania. We ate some excellent sandwiches with attention to the quality of the products and variety of flavours. Very suitable for those with intolerances, as in our case, there were people with celiac disease and those intolerant to milk. We also ate some excellent salads and also saw beautiful platters of cold cuts and cheeses. The desserts are delicious, even the gluten-free and dairy-free ones
Excellent service. Fair price for the quality of the products. We will definitely return, highly recommended.

Just the name is Fresco!
We ordered via GLOVO, order arrived but incomplete, we reported it and they didn't refund us, the sandwiches were good only by removing the meat and chips, the cheesecake remained frozen!
