Touristic place with heated food on microwave. To bill was added 1.5€ for each person, it's acceptable on fancy restaurant - but not on this place.

Touristic place not for local people Too expensive Medium quality No table service quality The owner……………………………………..
Very tasty pies! One was made with light pastry, with spinach, ham and cheese. The other one was made more like a bread and the filling was cheese, ham and tasty potatoes. Very cute place and ever so friendly staff. We sat outside but there...was sitings inside as well.More
Aranchino ok, way too expensive. The aranchino were still cold inside and the cheese not melted. We ordered 2 aranchino and 1 small bottle of water and the bill was 8.50€!!! They charge 1.50€ for the service per person without telling you beforehand and we...ordered inside at the counter and paid there, too. Beware!More
Ordered veal fillet. It was the best I ever had . Service fantastic. Wife had gnocchi, she said it was amazing. The owner did some cooking
The place was nice, the food also but we were charged additionally for sitting on the table without no one telling us. The cashier was not able to explain or warn us while paying. The tourists are not treated well there.Just terrible!
Arrancini with ham and lasagne were very good. Octopus salade was just so delicious, amazing! Foccacia with han and cheese was also ok. People are very friendly and simple good food.
Very good food, very good prices. It worthed. The owner is friendly. Good quality for the money. Very close to City center
We decided to try this place as it bad very good reviews on TA. The food was ok, not really outstanding. I think the hype about this place is a bit over the top. It‘s just a street food place… we had the food in...the little „park“ next to the bus stop on the other side of the road which was sort of romantic.More
There is a big variety of food at this place. The employees don’t speak English but were very kind. Food was tasty and on budget. Would definetly recommend
#IT Ho sentito parlare molto di questo locale, così siamo andati. Erano circa le 21:30 e quasi tutto era finito. Abbiamo potuto mangiare solo le torte salate. Erano buone, ma niente di speciale. #EN I heard a lot about this place, so we went. It...was around 21:30 and mostly everything was finished. We only could have torta salata. They were good, but nothing very special. One note for tourists who don't speak Italian: they can't speak English at all. I helped some American tourists with translations when we were there.More
The best place in Catania. Wonderful food, fresh products, the service is very nice! During a week's we were there 4 times! I can’t imagine to be in Catania and don’t try local specials in this place. For me the best was spaghetti, of course...arancini and fried seafood.More
Only the best things to say regarding our visit - the food was excellent and delivered quickly, owners are really nice and caring and prices are extremly affordable, especially for the quality of food. Also, it is located on the main street (via Etnea) so...even if you don't want to sit down and eat you can take something to go and eat it while strolling the city. I'd recommend it to anyone.More
I do not understand why so many reviews are positive, as we tried the restaurant for a simple lunch. It was disgustingly fat and not up to the Italian standard we are use to. I don’t write comment to just downgrade people or business but...this I felt like it had to be said. I didn’t take any pictures of my meals because on the visual it seemed normal but the taste was not there.More
We've been eating here several times during our visit to Sicily and it's been delicious every time! They have a great selection of Sicilian delicacies. Also, the owners and staff are super friendly and caring! Definitely recommend to visit.
