There is always a good selection of beers in this place. The owner knows his beers very well and is proficient in English. They serve food too. Place is quite empty in summer because there is only indoor seating. But I highly recommend it!
We visited this lovely bar on our first evening in Cagliari on 18/4/19. We found it by accident but we were very glad we did, as the service was quick and efficient and we had a very tasty gnocchi and crisp like cooked potatoes snack...and wine and coffee- all of which were excellent. The interior of the bar is quite cave like and lovely to look at. They played great music while we were there such the Stooges, New York Dolls, David Bowie etc which we really enjoyed. It was quiet when we visited as it was early evening so it had it was not yet busy. However, we enjoyed being there a great deal and would recommend it to anyone who visits Cagliari and who likes quirky looking bars, with good food, wine and coffee and great music!More
I would highly recommend popping in here for a casual bite to eat, delicious cocktails or to try one of their beers. The food is really good and the interior is lovely. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a great night here!
I was in Cagliari forone night and decided to check out hop corner and i was not disappointed. Being on my own the Barman was very friendly and helpful due to my appalling Italian and guided me through the beers as well as menu.
The...burger was amazing and the variety of beers was excellent...this place is a real treat tucked away and i hope to return one day!More
Visited The Hop Corner primarily to taste quality Sardinian and Italian beers. The staff were excellent in that they were welcoming, informative and enthusiastic in their passion for good quality local produce. Tried a range of great beers including a cask condtioned ale served by...a handpull.
A great business in an attractive and atmospheric setting that desreves every success.More
Very friendly, relaxed service put me at ease as a solo traveller. I tried two beers and they were both excellent. The beef and veal burger however, was melt in the mouth, with fresh bread baked on the premises. You do not get burgers of...this quality in the UK- highly recommended.More
We were in here for early drinks at which time the place is cosy and quiet. Choice of draught beers and hundreds of bottles from local and international breweries. Local wines are also served which are of excellent quality. Our server was knowledgeable about the...beer and wine and advised well on the choices. We were given a small platter of great local meat and cheese products which was very much appreciated.More
This is potentially a great place: an ancient stone cellar bar with heaps of atmosphere. They do food, speciality bottled beers and 3 good draught options including a 7,2% bock. We went twice and it was surprisingly un-busy both nights. The first night we spotted...too late that we'd been charged 6 beers when we'd only had 5, but put it down to an honest mistake. The second night they got greedier, but we were watching out. We had 5 beers again and lo and behold they put 8 on the bill Perhaps this place is failing and they desperately need the revenue, but this is not the way to do it.More
