Bit pricey, but in context good value. Food is superb, services keen and attentive and the chef does the rounds which is always fun. Great tuna. Well worth it.

Absolutely delicious. As the place is known for seafood (was recommended by our AirBnB host who is obviously local and knows the spots) I started with 1/2 dozen oysters (Fine de Claires, delicious and reasonable at €3.00 each). Followed by the seafood spaghetti carbonara (this was stunning) and washed off with some wine. The place was busy for lunchtime, loads... More

We popped up for dinner without reservation and had nice table inside. The food was excellent and it was nice to see the kitchen in action. Maestro himself was hosting the night and we felt very welcome.

This restaurant had good reviews and with a little research I selected it for its contemporary approach to local foods. I was not disappointed. There are tables inside and out with a large awning overhead. The tempura of fish and vegetables was perfectly crisp, light and hot with a mild sauce of ginger infused soy which was almost unnecessary as... More

We spotted this restaurant and we wanted to sit down for lunch, we got asked to have a look at the menu before sitting down. So we did and then we were just about to sit down when we got asked again if we looked at the menu.. We liked the setting so we ate there. Really good pasta to... More

We ate outside on a very warm evening, the atmosphere was busy and friendly, very family orientated. The staff were attentive and helpful with the menu choices, cocktails and fabulous Sardinian wines. The food was excellent, generous portions, elegantly served and delicious. What made the evening special was that Luigi, head Chef and owner, visited each table to chat and... More

First night visit all perfect. The tuna tartar and grilled octopus starters both excellent and dishes very creatively presented as was the grilled tuna for main. The main pasta with fish eggs and truffle even better and an absolute dream course. Price for the quality of food, excellent service (Luigi) himself serving part of the dinner and experience more than... More

Luigi Pomata himself guided us through the menu, took our order and presented us with the bill which is a superb touch and really struck out. He's not only confident in his produce but clearly his well-oiled machine too. We started off with the roasted octopus in balsamic vinegar a plate of mixed fish carpaccio and a couple of oysters... If you don't make it to Carloforte during your trip to Sardinia, then this is the next best thing, a typical "Carlofortino" restaurant. They serve excellent Tuna, worth trying. And their seafood carbonara was really nice.

We had struggled to find a restaurant and arrived quite late and very hungry. We sat outside as it was a lovely evening. The service was very good and fortunately for us the food arrived very swiftly. This is clearly a very popular restaurant and for good reason. It is not the cheapest place to eat but the food was...
