Fresh seafood and fish-based dishes. Good wines. All are local products. Location in front of the seaside close to a small beach. Selected place. You pay for it, around starting from 30 euros/person depending on the plates and on wines. Only reachable by car or...taxi.More
This restaurant is a jewel. We had the seafood anti pasta, some cozze and coccioli. Then we had two kinds of pasta which were the best pastas i ate in 6 months that i live in italy. We finished with lemon sorbet, which was different...to any sorbet i ever ate, limoncello and coffee. Their Vermentino wines are also amazing. The restaurant also has a view over the sea. Magnifico.More
Nice ambience with view to the sea. The staff is young, attentively and very friendly. We got "Antipasti di mare" (8 different appetizer), "Crudità di mare" (raw seafood), "Fregola sarda con arselle" (Soup with Sardinian pasta and clam), a bottle "Vermentino di Gallura" (Sardinian white...wine) and "Gelato artigianale" and cafè as dessert. Everything was well prepared and the seafood was very fresh. If you like traditional Sardinian seafood and fresh fish in high quality "Lo Zenit" is the right place!More
Beautiful place and food is amazing! It's so close to the airport so it's a great place for a meal near the beach on the way from or to the airport or as we did a meal in a big group after picking someone up....Only one down side was that because we were in 6 people it was suggested that we not choose the food we wanted (all different dishes) because it would take too long, but in the end it was a good compromise because everyone got the chance to try lots of different dishes.More
I am Sardinian and I lived in Cagliari for 7 years of my life! During that time I have been to lots of sea food restaurants and I consider Cagliari one of the best Italian places where to eat amazing sea food and where the...competition in that alimentary sector is absolutely incredible. Therefore, it is quite easy to eat high standard food quality but also quite easy to have it almost at the same pice average (with 35 euros you could have an amazing meal al around the city). Well, we went at the Zenit for a lunch meal, paying 48 euros each. Don't give me wrong, the food was amazing, such as the 90% of restaurants in Cagliari as I said. But for 48 euro we must receive a really strong portions. In the "grigliata mista" for eight people there were 2 prawns, one squid and one sea bass fish! Well I think this was really unacceptable, also because we didn't go there to save money but to have a fantastic lunch. And for 48 euros many other places would have given us a much better service. NB. We had a sit at 1.30 end we left at 4.30 which means 3 hours for the launch for a really slow service. Next time we will choose something different for sure!!!!More
This place was recommended by a friend, and we were really delighted by the quality and the freshness of the food! Also, one waiter in particular was kind enough to offer vegetarian alternatives to my partner. The venue is excellent, I recommend the mix sea...starter and to book a table outside, it is worth it!More
We came earlier than usual as per Italian time, around 12:30. The table was wonderful in front of the sea. The service impeccable and strongly recommend "spaghetti ai ricci ". Simply a must for a better knowledge of the seafood restaurant in Cagliari.
The Zenit is a simple yet characteristic seafood restaurant with nice view on the harbour of Cagliari and literally on a small beach in the Giorgino, Villaggio dei Pescatori (seamen village) area of Cagliari, a 10-minute ride from the town centre.
Plenty of places to...park the car, the area is just off the street to Pula fara way from the noises of the toen.
Absollute must is the spaghetti with ricci (hedgehog) and the fregola (typical sardinian pasta, difficult to find outside Sardinia) with mussels and clams.
Start with mixed appetizers and let the pasta make you taste great local seafood.
service is ok and prices are average to high but definitely worth eevry cent you spend.More
you can dine here while your feet are literally on the beach sand.
this restaurant is well known by the locals. it has a splendid view of Cagliari so try go just before sundown.
The appetizers are the best thing, they kind of just bring...stuff , you can specify what you do not eat , or if you want oysters which have a surcharge.
I definitely appreciated that the service was excellent the waiter suggested wines telling us the price range ( so it is definitely not a tourist trap)
we also had some great pasta .
we had a very good seafood dinner and wine , and it was around E30 pr person , this kind of dinner would be at least 3 times that anywhere else in the world!
I would recommend this place for a romantic dinner as well as a dinner out with friends.
there were tons of mosquitoes as right on the water, so go prepared , they gave us Autan an insect repellant.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant, it is out of the way , but totally with the short drive out of town.More
This restaurant is very very good! Take the mixed entree, this is a must. Wine is excellent €11,00 a bottle. Spaghetti with vongole and bottarga. Grilled fishes are fresh and well prepared. Sorbet lemon is the best you will ever get and Chefs dessert is...a good finish of this excellent meal. The place and view makes this a experience which will last. I would even take a flight just to have a meal in this restaurant.More
Definitely THE place to dine for seafood lovers. Excellent fregola and saffron&mussles spaghetti.
If you can go only once, I suggest going for lunch as you get to make the most of the view-the restaurant is right on the beach.
Not in the...city centre, a 5-10 mins drive/cab ride away.More
Seafood is fresh. Mussels caught right in front of the restaurant and the service is so friendly and efficient. We had a lovely meal consisting of pasta and seafood. Just so delicious and freshly prepared. Couldn't go wrong with this restaurant. Wine selection is good...too. Well worth a visit. The locality is Giorgino and opposite Fisherman's Village where they hold each summer the Festival of Fish.More
