We went there twice during our stay at the Borgo which is just up the hill. The kids had Pizza which was really delicious. The first time we had mixed starters: olives (own production), tapenade (mouth-watering) and smoked cheese with apple chutney (lovely). As mains we had 1. Spaghetti with seafood, 2. Spaghetti with Bottarga which were both tasty, but... More

If you are looking for an authentic Sardinian taste go to Le Pinnette. Everything is of a local produce that you can taste in every single bite. As a starter we took mixed anti pasti dish, which was a combination of different meats, vegetables and cheeses (my favourite smoked ricotta). Besides that there was also included succulent pork feet, which... More

Have to say this was an amazing experience. We opted for the full works and have to say we weren't disappointed. Antipasti all 10 of them so good, the primi course of Fragoli and Ravoli were superb, then the star of the show arrived the baby suckling pig what can I say it was beyond words it was melt in... Best food ever, fresh, tasty, pure, great service. So much food for a great price. Typical Sardinian food. Beautiful place to eat. Beautifully decorated and attention to detail. The wine was perfect! If you go to lunch skip breakfast, if dinner skip lunch.. So much food. It seems like it comes forever and ever and you could eat for hours.

Very nicely cooked food, made with fantastic fresh ingredients. Restaurant menu slightly limited, but enough choice for a couple of visits.

Mario is the friendly, animated front-of-house manager, Gianluca the maestro in the kitchen. Everything is home-grown and home-made, from the salumi to the porcetto, the pasta to the puddings. If you come on high days and holidays (e.g. Easter Sunday/Monday), there's a three-hour feast that is truly gargantuan; we didn't think we could manage the whole deal, but Gianluca wrapped... More

We stayed at Residenze di Campagna for a few days, which was entirely enjoyable. This is a review of the restaurant on site only. The restaurant prides itself on the "fresh ingredients frown on our Le Pinnette farm", its "cuisine ... based on high quality and genuine ingredients". Unfortunately, this cannot be said of all dishes: the "chicken cutlets" turned... More

Nothing special, I got a stomach pain after eating the wild boar, probably from the quantity of oil in the dish, it was practically drowning in the stuff.

My boyfriend and I love our food.... So when the people we rented an apartment from told us about Le Pinnette with such enthusiasm we were straight to it! The restaurant is set in an old shepards building on a working farm (where the meat that they serve is from) just outside if Alghero. We had a fabulously attentive and... More
