Family of four, read great reviews here and decided to try it out. 5-year old: Spaghetti Bolognese. Big portion, more than satsisfied girl. Adult and 7 year old: Spaghetti all'arrabiata - spicy and very tasteful a - best arrabiata we have tried. Good size on the portions also. Adult: Pizza Veneziana - maybe the best pizza so far in Alghero... More

Very friendly, very comfortable little restaurant in the old town.Extensive menu from pizzas, pastas, fish & steaks.Great value for money & the best in Alghero. You will need to book though as it is that popular with queues forming most nights.

We used to visit this restaurant ten years ago and on returning to Alghero it is still the best for value and quality in the old town. The pizza and pasta are delicious, the staff are efficient and the atmosphere is wonderful. You won't get a better meal or service in town.

Down to Earth friendly and comfortable little trattoria!!!! The food was simple and traditional but very tasty indeed, we shared a Pizza and a lasagne and each was filly and freshly made. Nice choice of wines and very friendly staff! Give it a go for nice relaxed uncomplicated evening meal!

It was recommended to us and it was so good we went back three times. The atmosphere is great as was the staff and service. The swordfish carpaccio was sensational, pizza's great and the pasta superb, and great value for money.

Considering all restaurants tend to be touristy in the city center of Alghero, this one is not (at least not completely). Half the tables were occupied by what seemed to be locals or friends of the patronne or the waitresses. The food was excellent (some of the best we had in Sardinia), and service was nice and fast (always with... More

Really nice pasta al'arrabiata! Good service and laid back atmosphere. Felt very lady and the tramp. We had cheap local wine and a big dish of pasta to share as a late late dinner, everything was great!

Just off the waterfront we had an excellent meal at Al Vecchio Mulino and at better prices than elsewhere in town. Lovely family atmosphere from the owners and staff trying to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The portions were overgenerous but tasted lovely. We ordered two fish courses for own main dish and went with the recommended option from... More

Party of 10 visited this restaurant tonight, pizzas were great but the lasagna was cold inside and calmare frito was poor, very small rings and we have eaten much better quality since being in Sardinia. Don't think I would go out my way to visit again !

The most authentic Sicilian experience we've had in Sardinia. Sunday night at 9.30pm all 3 barrel-ceilinged rooms were full of mainly Italian diners enjoying good classic Sicilian food with the usual Alghero emphasis on fresh seafood. Thoroughly enjoyable - but get there by 8.30 to be sure of a table.
