A good base for walking in the national parks (Parco Porto Conte e Le Prigionette) and for Alghero. The rooms are basic and comfortable and the family offer a warm, authentic welcome. The meals are served in generous portions (get to the end if you can!), using local produce produced on the family farm. Experience ‘true’ Sardinian cuisine without having... More

Lots of plates kept coming - all of it ok but none of it really tasty which is a shame as we ate much better food in smaller /less well known establishments. Still it was a lively atmosphere - hardly any non native tourists and packed with families and couples.

Had all-inclusive dinner with slow-roast suckling pig the main attraction, which was preceded by items all grown and prepared on site, including wine, excellent charcuterie plate, stuffed tomatoes, stuffed ravioli, gnocchi, fried eggplant, and few more things before the pig. Pigs were slow-roasted many hours at fire at back of dining area - don't go there if you are squeamish... More

if you are looking for a full degustation of local and tipical kitchen you have to go once to Barbagia near the airport. Full diner (drinks included) for 35 euros per person and you taste more than 10 local specialties from starters to primo platti, secondi platti and dessert

When stepping out of the taxi you become one with the farm. For me as a foodie there's nothing like getting behind the scenes of what's on your plate. The food was filled with love and tastes from the Sardinian soil. Service was spotless and the atmosphere stunning. Be prepared, this is not a guide Michelin tasting, it's a treat.... More

A friend and I went here for dinner as it was very close to our B&B, and it was absolutely delicious. You get everything included in the price ($30 - entirely worth it), including a carafe of wine (each!), and about 6 other courses. Our favourites were the the suckling pick, wild boar stew and the aubergine side dish (which... More

If this was a genuine experience of Sardinian home cooking then Sardinians should eat out. It should also be noted that lunch is not served here.

Worst food we had in all of Sardinia - more precisely, the only place that wasn't at least good (most were amazing). The only things that tasted ok were the cold cuts, the water and the grappa. The rest was bad to horrible. A real shame. Compliments to the lady serving us, who said it was her first day there.... More

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here a few nights ago. Make sure you don't eat before - as there is quite a lot to get through! We enjoyed the plethora of cheeses and cured meats, followed by fresh vegetables (glorious aubergines and onions that have to be tasted to be believed), two pasta dishes that were then followed by wild pig... We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Barbagia. We didn't have a booking, but turned up early (8pm meal start), and got a table for 3 with no problem. There is plenty of entertainment for the kids with a playground right next to the verandah where the meal is served. As with all agriturismo's the food was amazing and PLENTY of... More
