We found this place on our last day . Big regret ! Really nice place . We went for lunch and dinner . Lovely roof terrace. Enjoyed their food and service there . Wish we found it earlier !! Pizza was superb . Liked that the products were sourced locally.

We bought the pizza for 2, red wine for my missus, soda for me and a bottle of still water. €33..... You need to book in advance, try getting a table on the roof. Really good!

The restaurant is situated on the rooftop and my husband and I loved the character of the place. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, one even lent a French lady her own denim jacket because the lady in question felt the cool night air; a very generous thing to do. The food was tasty and all at a reasonable... More

Although La Botteghina serves many of the dishes you would find at other restaurants around Alghero, the standard is much higher, both in terms of flavour and presentation but, thankfully, not in terms of price! The rooftop garden is beautiful and the service excellent. The pasta dishes are delicious and are often Sardinian specialities, and the pizzas, the fish and... More

We ate on the charming terrace, space is really cramped (not ideal if you have kids!). Food was good, but nothing unforgettable. Service was a bit slow but waiters were friendly. However, they charged us the "coperto" (service fee) for a toddler as an adult, which is not fair.

The sliced dried meat of goat was amazing! The plate of mixed dried meat also! The staff was super friendly as my girlfriend had a hard time finding something on the menu the made a pasta on order! The menu was otherwise full of good things to pick from! We sat on the roof top terrace which was super cozy!... More

La Botteghina is a hidden little place in the old town of Alghero, if you are ever in Alghero and feel like a nice relaxing, very agreeably priced lunch that is absolutely delicious, then here is your destination. The service is prompt, friendly and very quick. Giuseppe will tell you everything that is on the menu, the specials etc, and... More

One of the many good restaurants in the smaller side streets a little away from the main throng of tourists. Had the suckling pig which was delish! Service was great...really friendly. Loved the arched and stone ceilings

Enjoyed a family lunch in a very nice atmosphere on the terrace. Rice radicchio was well prepared, the kids enjoyed a pasta with fresh tomatoes. The red house wine was good and overall a nice experience. The only regret was to not have ordered what everyone else we saw the other guests ordering but will be easily resolved through a... More

In Alghero, you have millions of restaurants, it's definitely hard to decide where to go and to find something really special. We found out by chance this great restaurant with a great terrace on the roof. We had for lunch the special pasta of the day and we just enjoyed it so much. Freshly made from the kitchen, that you...
