The staff was so kind and helpful 🙂My Italian is poor but the staff were understandable and some of staff speak English polish and I presume other languages too. The food is so fresh and deliciously prepared. The prices are v good. Draught beer is...only served in there I think 🤔 I recommend with my whole heart to go and watch wonderful sunsets too 👌🏻☀️🩵 Thanks everyone and see you soon!More
I'm writing this just before I leave, we've just had lovely food and drinks We didn't want anything too big but something a bit more than a snack. This fit the bill perfectly. What's more we were sat on the ramparts watching the sunset, a...lovely evening to end our holiday.More
It has been such a nice and delicious Restaurant for so many years now it is a bar with a very small choice of dishes…and really not good. No table cloth, very poor service. DON’T GO THERE FOR DINNER.
Prime location along the sea, we ate a delicious fish dinner amid a spectacular sunset and silvery crescent moon. Grilled whole sea bream for two was superb and reasonably priced. Save room for the warm chocolate tortino with passion fruit.
I wish I could give zero stars. We ordered a mix of seafood for starters, never have I been that disappointed. It all tasted like nothing, and what tasted of something, tasted uneatable. Especially the oysters weren’t good at all and had an odd taste....After that we had Fregola Risotto and Grilled fish of the day. The fregola risotto tasted like store bought tomato soup. The grilled fish was a plate of mostly grilled squid which tasted like nothing of a price of 6€ per 100g. We ended up paying 36€ for the grilled fish, which I think was an unfair price for what we got. Nothing tasted good, mostly like nothing. Very expensive, very bad quality.More
Service good, food good. We have visited this restaurant many times over the past few years and it always is a pleasure and well worth the money
The place was recommended to us. The food and especially the risotto was great. Make sure to come shortly before sunset to have a great view. The service (though very professional) was not as ‘personal’ as other places we have visited and it seemed that...there was a focus on perhaps being able to have our table for the next guests as it was very busy. The food though is very good.More
We had such a wonderful meal here, the menu is very imaginative and a bit different from some of the other restaurants. I had the herb crusted swordfish which was amazing. Its wonderfully situated by the city wall looking out to sea. The staff were...very attentive and the wine list lovely. We went back another evening and were not disappointed.More
With tens of great restaurants to choose from in Alghero, please don't fall in the same trap as we did: the amazing location of this place! For sure STAY AWAY from the "Risotto Fregola" which was truly inedible: sweet very dubious sauce and frankly it...seemed to me very suspicious that both our dishes were ready in less than 10 minutes! My adult daughter didn't touch her Risotto and I had a bad stomach ache after my Tuna dish. Seeing all the great reviews here, I guess we were just unlucky with our choices, but one thing is sure: I am not setting foot in that establishment again.More
The trap is have guests like you, that don't understand nothing of restaurants and good services. We don't know exactly when you ate at Angedras Restaurant, but it is clear from your words you stayed or for lunch or when dinner started (around 19.00-19.30), when...More
A little more elegant than the others in the area, they offer a great view and excellent food. For lunch there is the option to get 2 dishes for 16€, which is very good value and enough (at least for us). We had the cod...and mozzarella starters and then grilled squid and fish fillet. Perfect setting and professional service. Highly recommended.More
Excellent! Delicate, rich, balanced, fresh. Great service and amazing location with view. Really good.
Went for lunch here. The anti-pasti and calamari was really fresh, nicely presented and tasted great. I can also recommend tiramisu which was one of the best we’ve had!
Very sweet waitress, food was very tasty and nice presented. The wine was excellent, and the location is wonderful.
We entered this place at 6.45 to ask whether it was necessary to book a table for later. The staff were all eating. A short white-haired gentleman jumped to his feet and started berating us for disturbing his supper. I apologisedfor the interruption and explained...we just wanted to make a simple enquiry, but he kept on loudly complaining, shooing us out and locking the door behind us. Well, maybe he should have done that earlier if he didn't want to be disturbed. Clearly the staff here hate the public and all the obsequious smiles when they're looking for business or a nice tip are just fake. So why would anyone want to eat in a place where the staff hate their customers and cannot be in the least courteous? No thanks.More
