I didn't get to excited about this place. I found the decor old fashioned and stuffy but I will say it was immaculately clean! My first dish I did not enjoy at all and when I told our waiter he seemed to take it personally and got defensive. However the others in my group had wonder first plates. I am... More

Came for a date night meal on our holiday - fantastic restaurant to have a date night in. Very cosy, quaint, atmospheric - not too many diners and you can catch a glimpse of the kitchen. Went for a seafood and vegetarian tasting menu - which they helpfully adapted to a vegan tasting menu without loss of tastiness! Food was... More

Popular restaurant for foreigners looking for a good feed in the old town (I suspect the prices keep many locals away), the chef is serious about his cooking but a little old fashioned. The ground floor houses the toilets/restrooms and a pleasant reception area which was not in use when we visited, whilst the kitchen and (small) main dining area... More

Walked in not expecting to get a table but were happily surprised. The whole meal was delicious especially the skate with Black&white pasta and the creme catalan (brûlée). Highly recommend this place

Good food, well waited on, although wouldn't necessarily say it was a must go to but well worth a visit. We trying the tasting menu, the fish dish was better than the meat option, we tried both. The wine recommendation was also very good and not too pricey.

Been invited here by my local colleagues for a business dinner!! This is apparently an high rated restaurant in town, you do not get a table regardless the time of the year without a reservation. The menu tried to combine traditional food with new age cuisine. The result is unique and is very good!! Highly recommended

This was one of the best dinners I have had these past 14 days in Italia! Just amazing! The couple that run the ristorante have worked together some 40 plus years & do so harmoniously. (Which is not an easy thing - I know I work with my husband). But the food is phenomenal & the pride they take in... More

The food is so tender it melts in your mouth. The lamp chops, the seafood, the deserts- creme brulee, the apple pie, everything we tasted was magnificent. The personal attention by chef Benito is outstanding. We loved the place, definitely recommended. Solly & Orly from Israel

The restaurant Al Tuguri is amazing. We booked well in advance considering that this is a small restaurant located in the heart of the old city in Alghero, Sardinia. If you can only eat in one restaurant in Sardinia eat here. Benito, the chef, is very friendly and tends personally to the guests. He cares about his reputation and keeps... More
