Just a no brainer, go! Sober place with delicious fresh and local cuisine. Service is super friendly and of good advise, very flexible with allergies (gluten, lactose). We had a really nice lunch!

Exceptional food, friendly service, great Ambiente. You should try the antipaste di mare. The local fish from the oven with olives and white wine was delicious. They had the best Sorbetto we had during our vacation in Apulia. Try the Grappa Barrique for ending a delicious meal.

Ourguide book recommended this restaurant so we went with enthusiasm. We selected a white wine from the menubut the waiter seemed to expect us to want house wine, which i had not seen . I was very rudely told to make my mind up. We went for the bottle not the house wine and really wished we had taken the... More

We had a wonderful lunch time meal. FRESH Mussels, White bait, Spigola, (Sea Bass), bread, mixed fish fried platter, white wine and all for €15 per head. (Wine just €4.50 per litre.) Cover charge only €1.50. Great value for money. Crowded with lunchtime locals grabbing a leisurely lunch. If it's great for the locals - then it must be good!... More

Very friendly atmosphere, food it's delicious. For sure it's not a fast food so logically there's some time to wait between order and food ready. Price is kind of average. Mario is a great waiter follow is advices!

The best restaurant of fish in Taranto. We always stop in there to have a dinner when we are in Taranto. Don't have Menu, just the fishes they catch on the day. You feel the fresh, soft and a little taste of the ocean. The best fish I ate on my life. Going to Taranto need to stop in there.... More

The seafood antipasto was excellent. 6 dishes for 11 euros. We shared one between two. "Uno per due" became our normal refrain when ordering antipasto. There was mussels in breadcrumbs, fried mullet, a type of whelk, an unidentified (but very tasty) bit of white fish, steamed mussels and razor clams, and somethings I can't remember now! There is a fish... More

We recommend Trattoria del Pescatore for everyone who loves fresh seafood and local atmosphere. The sevice were helpful and swift. The anti-pasti of the house is a must, with a variety of fish, mussels, squid etc, fermented, fried and cooked in different ways. The table-spread of todays catch whre you choose your meal is fantanstic.

Fish fresh from the fishmonger inside, beautifully prepared, very reasonably priced. Follow the advice of Mario, the head waiter. We happened on it because it looked good, and were not disappointed. Your car is surveiled outside too.

We ate here twice during our stay in Taranto. At lunch we wanted vegetables and a little pasta. They were very accommodating. When we returned for dinner, I asked them to recommend something. The head waiter took me to the fish counter and we picked out 3 different fish to grill and some prawns. DH really likes pasta so we... More
