Hi suppose it to be much much better, but it's a very normal place, quite expensive and not so "fresh" food. There are much better restaurant around it.

We got this tip from our hotel to come here and have dinner. Angelo, the boss, really took care of us. We had the Paranza starter which was all into seafood. If you are a small eater stick only to this. I had the grilled tuna afterwards and that was more then ok! If you are in Taranto please make... More

The place was in a condemned building in a city block of buildings with emergency struts to support then from collapsing. A quite derelict area. The restaurant itself looked in average condition compared to most others in the city. Food was average and booring, but still quite pricy. Wine was good and the service was good enough. Only seafood, and... More

Taken here by my best friend in Italy and i have to say...i would love to go back right now!!! The antipasto is phenomenal!!! The gnocchi fantastic!! And the views are simply gorgeous...you basically sit by the sea watching the fisherman boats in and out. The "cozze gratinate" is a super speciality, i love it and you should try anytime!!... More

I really loved this restaurant. The food was very good (I particularly liked the choice of elaborated appetizers), the service was very friendly, and the price was OK.

The Old Town in Taranto is a nice place to have a little trip among churches and traditional fishers' houses. Besides you can have a walk in the early XX century town. Therefore, if you are looking for a place to have lunch/dinner, you can choose La Paranza and eat fish with a not expensive price. Appetizers "La Paranza" offer... More

We came down to Taranto and had few culinary experiences. Amongst those, La Paranza is with no doubt the best one. The fresh fish smells of sea and it's cooked in such a unique and particular way. All the dishes were special, tasty and well presented. The service was exceptional and thank to our waiter Paolo, who was attentive and... More
