Excellent food and friendly staff. We shared the salted cod on polenta, this was lovely, I had bigolli pasta in tomato sauce and my husband had the liver on polenta.. the dishes were beautifully presented and good sized portions. I had the ricotta cheesecake and my husband the tiramisu, both were delicious. Served with a glass of valpolicella and a... More

Best restaurant we have eaten at. Good choice of local dishes, well presented. Service attentive and friendly. Spoke adequate English, and are very helpful. Wonderful zabaglione! Highly recommended. Serve prosecco on tap!

Four of us had a very pleasant lunch...fine, interesting, relatively 'new' ways to prepare some traditional dishes (such as a preparation of white asparagus or their special home-made sauce for the bigoli); table wine perfect for the food. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating -- all the more impressive given that a huge group of locals arrived just after... More

We were staying across the square and decided to "go local". Could not have been better. My wife is a foodie and loved it. Essential to book.

The restaurant is located at the west end of the ancient city, not far from the "Castello" Gate. We stopped here for dinner, encouraged by the judgment of the receptionist of our hotel. We have focused as much as possible in order on the typical regional dishes: so we enjoyed a first course (pappardelle with morel mushrooms sauce), two main... More

We return each year, because the food reflects this area of the Veneto and this is a welcoming restaurant. The assorted meat and cheese platter has a good variety of both. The bigoli with duck ragu is a specialty and their soups are excellent. For a secondo the calves liver served with polenta is good and the trout encrusted with... More

This is a pleasant restaurant with friendly staff. On our recent visit, we shared a chestnut flour tagliatelle (mushroom/bacon) sauce, duck breast with a potato side and a salad. The pasta was quite nice, though a fairly small portion, the duck breast a bit flat and served lukewarm and the salad uninspired. Nice wine though, a cab from Treviso region,... More

This restaurant is well run and the food pretty good. I started with excellent grilled sardines followed by a tasty wild mushrooms soup. The duck that followed was rather bland however. Good local wine. Efficient and friendly service The decor is simple but nice.

Serves traditional Italian food with a Veneto flavour. Went there a couple of times and would go there again. Good service. Great view of one of Palladio's buildings, Palazzo Porto Breganze.
