I've been here twice, one for drinks and another time for dinner. The drinks both times were absolutely horrible and the food was barely passable. Seriously my least liked place downtown sadly because I actually love Mexican food.

While Papa Joes is known for being a Mexican restaurant, I would think of it more as a festive spot for beer and wings- the bar in general is great! They have a decent selection of craft beer and their "Just Wings" dish comes with like, five sauces, which speaks to my heart. Staff is friendly and fun. I also... More

I was bothered that the music in the bar as we walked in would be beating out in the dining area -- but it was not. We were given English menus which helped (my Italian is rubbish) and the staff were friendly. Mostly Mexican fare, but I had a lovely filet steak, beautifully cooked with excellent fries and green beans... More

I didn't have anything to eat here but I did have a few cocktails and they were fab. I went back two nights in a row as they really were delicious. I also really liked the decor and the staff were nice and friendly. Would recommend.

Just came in for drinks and decided to order food. On first impressions the place looked fun, I liked the decor and atmosphere. It might be fine for just some drinks but the food was very greasy and had no flavour. Frankly it was inedible there was nothing Mexican about it.

The menu here is quite large and they specialize in nothing. As there are few choices for ethnic foods in Vicenza we thought it would be a nice change of pace. I think most of the food is frozen and it was quite bland.

Not much to compare to if you've ever had real Mexican food, this is the closest you might come, but it's not that close. The drinks are good. Given there are few international options in Vicenza (most of Italy for that matter) a nice break, but don't go expecting REAL Mexican food and the cost exceeds the value.
