Not quite what we had expected from a Bib gourmand restaurant. Although we had a - confirmed - booking, no table was reserved for us. When we arrived we were presented with the choice to sit outside or inside. The outside choice was not available for an hour, though. So we were tabled inside in a room next to the... More

Small menu with reasonably priced regional food (8-10 euros for pasta). Friendly service and nice ambiance. Worth a visit.

We came across this restaurant in a book on Verona and were keen to try before leaving. The traditional Veronese food was very tasty (yummy dessert especially), the decor was charming, the staff were friendly and recommended wine to go with our food. Overall a very pleasant dining experience!

It would be hard to find another place so rooted into the traditional Veronese cuisine. The ambiance is very much in keep with the menu, traditional with the random quirk. Good wine list, if you are into the Veronese ruby beauties. Service a little impersonal and detached, which can be OK in some situations.

A very nice local Italian food and wine experience in a relaxed and pleasant environment. The service was also good - relaxed, friendly and attentive. In all - a good place for a dinner after a day in Verona.

We were in a short visit to verona, and we hadn't reservate. The place is very nice and comfortable. Waiters are very kind but food is super for quality and quantity (young kids were entusiastic). Good wine and dessert were perfect to complete the lunch. Try it !

Since I've been invited from a Italian friend that is very familiar with the restaurants in Verona and much more with Italian wine, it was not surprising to me that the food there is really, but really excellent. They are serving traditional Italian cousin and what impressed me a lot was a dish of smoked figs with polenta and mushrooms.... More

This is a traditional non touristy restaurant. Very traditional decor staff friendly and welcoming. Food was very good but could put some people off as there was horse meat on the menu but we had mixed meats with deluicious polenta. Pasta with duck sauce and tagliotelli with butter and sage and panna cotta. With a bottle of valpolicelli only came... More

It's right next to The Hotel Armando - our regular destination when we stay in Verona - we either eat at Trattoria Al Bersagliere or - if we're in Verona town centre at Ristorante Greppia….both offer good menus, good food and good service…we must say Trattoria Al Bersagliere is very good value for money!!!!
