Lovely garden terrace and a wide variety of cakes and pastries to go with the coffee. Nicely located near the cathedral.

A hidden gem … from the outside and its location you would expect this cafe to be expensive but it wasn’t - not only that it was just lovely. The service was friendly and attentive, the risotto and pasta excellent and the coffee and little...treats we chose were excellent too. Highly recommend for a stop - there are two lovely rooms - ours had some really old details and of course, there’s the courtyard but it was raining when we were there.More

Beautiful setting for drinks, cakes and also pasta. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed. The courtyard at the back is very pretty and they have heaters if it's a little chilly outside. It is very well priced and the Hugo...cocktails are delicious. It is very clean and the ambience is wonderful. It is the perfect place for a coffee/ tea, drink or a light meal. It is a perfect hideaway from the crowds. It is cheaper than many places in spite of the more expensive appearance from the street even being so close to the Cathedral. Side street prices for a prominent position. Love it here.More

The courtyard of this cafe/bar is a cool, shaded refuge from the heat of the day in Verona; very close to the Duomo, the Castle and the Adige river. The lunch menu was good an plenty of pastries for a treat. Recommended!

We stopped at this place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The courtyard is lovely, quiet and full of small birds (which can unfortunately also poop on your table). We had two aperitifs, an ice cream and two deserts and it was all...tasty. I loved the huge choice of deserts, they all looked amazing.More

Service was beyond expectations. Food (salad, panini, and pastry) was well executed including presentation. Wine, coffee and tea to fill out the meal. The quiet, shaded patio provided refuge from the heat. The ambiance was relaxing unlike some of the touristy areas we had been...to. Service was quick, friendly, and professional. I plan on returning in a few days.More

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Duomo. Great find! There is a lovely, shaded patio. Nice selection of salads with seafood. Busy place, for good reason!

Called in for a coffee and sweet treat during a day trip to Verona. Both the coffees and pastries were lovely and it was very pleasent sitting under the shade in the courtyard. No issues at all with the service received.

Both pasta dishes were excellent, hot and tasty. Lovely garden at the back. Obviously popular with the locals - we visited Sunday lunchtime on a recommendation from our tour guide. Looked like a great pasticerria too.

There is a beautiful vine covered outdoor garden hidden behind the unassuming front of the Bar Caffeteria Al Duomo. This coffee and pastry shop is located on the same piazza as the beautiful Duomo of Verona. We had a suprisingly good lunch from the small...menu of sandwiches and salads. My tagliata manzo had six large slices of freshly grilled and tender medium-rare beef on a bed of mixed greens and accompanied by sauteed zuchini. This was much more and much better than I expected. My wife chose a simple but satisfying mortadella panino served on crusty bread. As you would expect, there is an impressive selection of house made pastries on display at the front counter. The open air garden allows smoking. So choose your table carefully.More
