Nice restaurant with a great selection of prosciutto (ham) and other good dishes as well. The service was excellent too. Reservation in summer is recommended.

Get away from the tourist traps and take a short walk here. This place is great. Staff spoke some English, but we were able to figure everything out. Cheap wine and lots of good food. You must get a meat and cheese board!

We tried this restaurant based Trip Advisor reviews and were not diappointed. We started with the 3 proscuitto plate--each aged differently--18 months, 24 months and 36 months. Wow, the difference. My hsband's favorite was the 36 month, mine was the 24 month...but all three were delicious. Then the lamb chops...my husband had to pick up the bone to finish it... More

After the buzz of naples, verona is a quiet change. We stopped at this place for a primi piatta and a glass of wine. Both were good and the service was pleasant.

I visited this restaurant as a solo traveller in August. I ordered one of the ham and cheese platters and it was delicious. There were three soft cheeses, lots of ham and some other bits and pieces (€10 I think). I ordered a glass of sparkling wine which was reasonably priced at €4 (there was also one for €3 and... More

The venue certainly is nice. The Anti Pasti were fabulous and as another reviewer already noted, i would rate it top notch as a Proscuitoria but well less as a restaurant. Our mains were mostly disappointing unfortunately. The venue is very nice though. We had dinner the night Verona was tormented by heavy rains and thunderstorms and we had just... More

Heavy rains is something different than flooding. Last week a great part of the historical centre of Verona was under water, and we also had big problems in our restaurant. We apologize with all our clients who did not fully enioyed their experience in our restaurant but we cannot do very much agaist bad weather. I think reasonable people should... More

Excellent food, nice atmosphere!!! We ordered suggested menu and it was tasty, best food we had in Italy. For children we splitted one portion and it was big enough for 9 and 4 yrs olds. There were lots lf local people and it was also nice!

After looking at the stuffy fish restaurants in the adjoining piazza, Il Banco oozed character and quirkiness with excellent and service. Highly recommend the curried chicken, very light flavours but perfect composition. Great service and atmosphere. Will return when able and highly recommend.

Our hotel recommended this gem of a place for lunch. We had amazing selection of charcuterie meats as part of our lunch. The food was fantastic. The restaurant felt very authentic--the staff did not speak English and most people eating there were locals. Was a very memorable meal.

Booked a Groupon Italy deal which cost 60 euro for two Menu Deluxe meals that included four courses, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and included service and tax. Frankly the best value meal we've enjoyed in a long time. Huge plates of wonderful aged prosciutto to start accompanied by delicious bread, cheeses and chutneys. Then lovely (and... More
