All the time that I decide to come here it was the right choice!! Delicious plates and friendly staff. The only problem the long way to reach the place. But when you start your lunch or dinner you will forget about the distance and appreciate the rest

The restaurant is fabulous! The chef was very friendly and welcomed us with enthusiasm! Our meal was unique and delightful. The riccota gnocci was exceptional!! We celebrated my sister-in-law's birthday with friends and family. A delicious cake was made and served at our table. It was truly a memorable experience!!

We drove up to Pigozzo in the dark, a little unsure how long it would take (10 minutes from Mizzole). Situated in a beautifully restored old mill building, the restaurant was full and buzzing. We enjoyed local specialities such as Quinto cheese wrapped in speck on a bed of shredded raddichio, wild boar casserole and a beautifully tender pork fillet.... More

Le Piere used to be in nearby Mizzole and was something of a gourmet delight. Since they moved, little if anything (apart from the name) remains from the previous restaurant. As a Locanda/Osteria, without previous expectations, it would have been fine, but we expected more....The good bits.:- prices are more than competitive - cheap even - but selection is poor... More

We were taken to this restaurant outside Verona by a Verona native. Our friend did the ordering and we were treated to the most amazing meal. Every dish was fantastic! After dinner, the wonderful hosts treated us to after-dinner drinks as we sat on the terrace and watched the World Cup. They were so happy to show we Americans their... More

Found this restaurant after some work (less indicators than expected; one in 4-5 km). If you are tenacious you can find it. Deep in the forest, in pleasant location. Ideal for lunch (when not busy) to avoid in dinner time. Definitely recommended "tagliata di caballo", a very fine dish from horse. One day we tried the pasta with black lessian... More

This place is a bit of a drive from Verona, but if you're in an agriturismo/hotel nearby I would definitely recommend it. We had some of the best wine we've had in Italy so far, some good food and by far the best service we've had in Italy. We had the gnocchi with truffles to begin, which was good, but... More

A fanastic place even if it is a little out of town it is worth the drive, a real treat and traditional experience ! The owners are so friendly and if you are lucky they will show you thier private wine cellar!!! I had polenta with salami and mushrooms to start, roasted little pig for main and a mint chocolate... The tagliatelle al tartufo are very good! If you would like to drink a good wine I recommend ordering a bottle of wine. The house wine is ok, but not if you want to make this a special dinner or lunch.
