This is THE place to taste the local specialty which is the mattonella. You would translate it as little brick. It has different flavors in layers which includes amaretto. Be careful that you can encounter a long queue, but it is worth it!
Our tour guide said this was the best gelato in Verona.
It was tasty, and reasonably priced, but nothing wonderful in my opinion.
Maybe I'm just becoming blasé about gelato, but I have fonder memories of gelato in Florence and Venice.
