Osteria del Bugiardo is a small wine bistro located in the centre of Verona where you face the usual touristic hustle and bustle. The bistro has a nice traditional atmosphere and offers drinks & apéritif, finger-food & simple Italian dishes and has good choice of wines.
On a weekday walk over Verona we looked for lunch and spotted Del Bugiardo. We went for a Lasagna Bolognese and a Gnocci Gorgonzola accompanied by a glass of young Bianco Disperato & mineral water, and ended with a coffee. We were not disappointed. The food was tasty and the wine was OK.
When you like to have an apéritif a glass of wine or a good small dish in a nice traditional establishment, Del Bugiardo is the place for you. Recommended.

Cozy bistrot in the heart of Verona.
Showed up around 3pm (probably not the busiest time) and took 5 mins to get two stools. I can imagine it to be messy at noon. Anyway...
Everything very tasty and good care by the personnel.
Got 3 warm entrees, 1 pasta, 1 small cotechino and 1 small polenta. 2 glasses of wine, coffee and sbrisolona as dessert: 48€ in two.
More than reasonable for Verona's standard price-wise.
Well recommended if you feel like queueing up a bit

Tavern of the Liar…
Run to this warm, welcoming location with super welcoming, friendly staff always with a smile.
If you are in Verona you cannot fail to pass by here... indeed you have the right and the duty to take and drink the delights of glasses of wine for every palate.
Accompanied by cicchetti that calling them cicchetti is almost a euphemism.
Either at the table inside or directly at the counter you will be captivated by this tavern with evergreen Italian music, staff very ready and quick to accept your orders.

Too bad for the lack of clarity with the customer.
We went to this place for an aperitif (actually just two glasses of wine) and the manager asked us if we wanted to try something too. Not knowing the place and not knowing what to have, we accept the advice of a small plate of raw meat. It's a shame that the raw dish cost us more than the two glasses and therefore €10.00 without it being specified but only by discovering it on the bill.
Otherwise, it's a nice place and full of people.
In any case, clarity comes first, I'm sorry but we won't go back.

Verona is a beautiful city, the center is certainly one of the parts of the city not to be missed. The squares and streets around them are full of places where you can have an aperitif. At Osteria del Bugiardo you will find smiling and kind guys, good food and lots of wines. Unfortunately the food prices are not exactly cheap, moreover at 8pm they had finished almost all the bruschetta.
Despite everything, I can only recommend this cute place.

SPACE but…
Everything spatial: food, wine, service and venue: a very pleasant atmosphere!
Huge choice of cicchetti, meatballs and so on and so forth!
The bill was slightly 'high', at least according to our expectations, but, to be honest, it must be said that we ordered a mixed plate of cicchetti without looking at the price list.
To try!!

I had lunch in this typical osteria in the center of Verona with a welcoming, genuine atmosphere.
Unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations
The pumpkin ravioli was decidedly undercooked and the tarte tatin undercooked and flavourless

We just passing and choose that place for a lunch. Order local wine with was delicious. Ragu di anatra very tasty, and local formaggi was delicious. Definetlly recomendet that place. We have luck because after became very crowded, looks is very popular place. And now know why.

We just love this wine bar, always busy, wonderful staff, great wine and interesting food. You must arrive early for lunch - but hey that's a treat. To 'snuggle' in here on a cold rainy day or to enjoy a glass or two at the outside bar on a sunny day in the summer is just bliss !

Excellent and cozy osteria at corso porta Borsari. We tried at Sunday night but was full inside and outside. So made a reservation for the next day. The Buglioni wines are of high quality. The food is very good and the menu changes almost every day. The waiters are professional and charming. Bugiardo is a place value for money!! Grazie per tutti. Fino alla prossima volta!!!

Visited this place for an aperitif, already from the outside one expects good quality since it is super crowded. Despite this, the staff is really kind and helpful, and the idea of having a showcase with some cicchetti on view so that the customer can choose them directly is also a good idea.
I would happily stay here again during a next trip to Verona.

Approached an empty table, asked if it is free, got asked to wait. Allright.
Then Watched a female customer to get forced to move to this empty table. She was not happy to move. Allright. Ok, he must have his system then.
Then watching the guy serving other femal customers arriving after us, happily giving them a place outside.
then told us everything is occopuied. Seriously? He boy, Is this your job or ur dating plattform? 😃

Very nice place with several choices of small dishes and drinks by the glass. Super friendly staff. The parmigiana was great, but the lasagna may have not been the best one I’ve ever had. I would definitely come back for apero and some food in the future.

Popped in for a little lunch, stayed for the impromptu wine and grappa tasting. The cold cuts, cicchetti and pasta were excellent. 'Would you like to try a glass of the 2017 Amarone now?' Why not. 'You must try the Amarone grappa before you leave... just a taster... I insist'. We did, it was superb. Now all I have to do is find where to buy a bottle in the UK.

Fabulous wine. Great choice by the glass or bottle. Amazing white lugana too. Food and snacks brilliant as always. We’ve visited here a lot. Always busy and noisy in a good way. Of people enjoying themselves .. live the carved ham. Great gooey runny blue cheese 😍. Always good here. Only stools offered. But worth the discomfort for service ,wine and food
