Pick up your lunch or dinner to eat while wandering round Verona, or inside the small shop, leaning on a table/shelf, no matter it is absolutely worth it. These bigoli taste like, if not better, than those we ate in restaurants, but a lot cheaper...and quickest of course.
Not far from the castle I do strongly recommend it, from mid morning to early dinner, non stop, we tried both with duck-meat ragù and cacio&pepe, gnam!
A sure stop for our next stay.More
The pasta here is so tasty! I usually have the ragù bolognese, although I have also tried the amatriciana and duck ragù, which are also super good. Not a fancy place, just fast yummy pasta to eat whilst standing or perched on a stool.
Cheap freshly prepared pasta. You get the atmosphere of fast food though it is supposed to be a healthier and fresher option. Staff preparing food works like a machine. Staff not smiling at all (fully understandable during peak hours).
This looked like a fairly popular spot with locals, and the Pasta Norma I got didn’t disappoint. I was looking for something light to take to my apartment and this was perfect. I think it was around 8 euro. The pasta was hot and al...dente, the sauce was rich and delicious. I did add crushed pepperoncino peppers and some oil to the top before I left for home, which was a nice addition. While fast food is not typically an Italian custom, it’s nice to have this option. There are more “street food” options popping up that offer savory dishes – in addition to the pizza-by-the-slice and panini options there have been.More
