The restaurant is tastefully decorated as in some sort of kitsch-chic kaleidoscope. Staff is knowledgable and attentive, the menu is a triumph of cucina veneta: tagliatelle with three sauces and one the most amazing bollito (boiled meat) you will ever experience.

Just like the title implies, when I came to Locanda di Castelvecchio I think I died a little... and found myself in Paradise. I'm a Restaurant Manager by trade, usually very picky on my dining out, but it's safe to say I could not fault ONE thing at this place. Not a single one. - Location: central, with the beautiful... This is a destination for many but for us it was a lucky find; we just happened to be walking by at lunch time. Excellent octopus salad and a crisp bottle of Soave served by friendly staff.

Amazing experience and fabulous staff. We were ran late in Verona and the hotel indicated this restaurant. We arrived there and the owner of the restaurant, a woman very helpful and friendly translated the menu in real time to english and most important helped us to define the starters, main courses and deserts. It was a such experience in a... More

We liked this restaurant very much, with its wonderful ambience and good food. We sat in the garden in the back of the restaurant, enjoying the food and wine. The drawback was the fairly Limited menu, which meant that some of us struggled to find something they really wanted. The ragu was outstanding, the risotto al chanti was very good.

Cordially and very well serve. This restaurant is for me one of the best restaurants in Italy. For the service to the food, tje ambience to the presentations. This is a must place to be in Verona!

We were looking for something special on our wedding anniversary and we found it. This is superb dining from every point of view: elegant and warm ambience, attentive yet unintrusive service and food that is hard to forget. My mouth was still watering the morning after at the thought of the bollito. We decided not to have a first course... More

We visited the restaurant on a fairly busy Saturday evening without having booked. Nevertheless, we were greeted politely and shown to our seats without further ado. The decor is old fashioned, elegant and totally charming as are many of the clients. We had the smoked salmon and the ham and pickled vegetables as a starter followed by chicken liver risotto... Food exelent but overpriced. We were charged of all things which we do not expect coming in to an expensive restaurant, including also copertino 4 eur each. Drinks are very expensive and before ordering a drink always ask the price as you can be charged by a price you never expect, like it happened to us. Service very poor, but... More

Rainy night on a cobbled stone road across from the old castle in a cosy place was pretty special. The quiet elegance of this restaurant is worth a visit. The menu is not extensive-they specialise in boiled and roasted meats-but after the starters which vary day to day - the main offering was a plate of various meats carved at the...
