This lunch was our most expensive meal since arriving in Italy 6 days ago. But it's on the Grand Canal only a short walk from the Rialto Bridge. We had great views from a shaded table. Our server was excellent. My wife had the Insalate...More

Just popped in here having crossed the Rialto bridge and needing a thirst quencher. Good service with a fantastic view of the Grand Canal and its heavy, daily, traffic

It’s all about the view- on a beautiful Sunday afternoon the setting was wonderful. The tuna tartare was acceptable as was the pasta with king prawns. A few glasses of prosecco and life is good!

The Al Pesador is well located close to the Rialto bridge and the Rialto market. It faces the canal and its outside table offer good views. The atmosphere in the bar area was lively and convivial. The service was slow, but friendly. We went there...More

Ate here twice for lunch. Very relaxed on the edges of the Grand Canal, so great for people watching. Helpful fun staff and we very much enjoyed the food and wine. It is busy but we weren’t rushed out. Will definitely come back next time...More

Had chichetti and drinks at this place on a nice afternoon. The snacks we ordered were all stale, made with old bread, and some of the dishes (stuffed zucchini flowers and bacalao) tasted like they had been prepared days ago. Ordered brand name vodka, but...More

After sailing the Grand Canal on the Vaporetto and crossing the Rialto bridge we noticed the cocktails that we had seen in other Italian cities. So we asked and discovered this amazing aperitif "Shpritz" EUR5 (Aperol, Prosecco, Club Soda, ice, olive or slice of orange)....More

Visiting Venice for the Biannale, stopped for drinks with a friend. Slow service, overpriced and low quality appetizers. Venice is known for it's cichetti (snacks) and these weren't fresh and also over priced. While it is a great location, service and quality are very poor.

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six

markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
