We were a group of 7 with three kids. Our waiter was fantastic, super friendly. The food was very good. We had a mix of pastas and everyone was happy. Highly recommend this slightly out of the way spot.

We fell upon this lovely old Trattoria whilst exploring Venice. The service was excellent, the food was very good, my partner loved the seafood spaghetti, it was so fresh. My only disappointment was that they didn't serve pizza even though it was on the menu...More

Being in Italy my expectation of the food is understandably high. Can always gauge a decent Italian by the standard of carbonara and whilst the pasta was al dente, the inclusion of cream is always a no no. The partners ravioli was also uninspiring. Very...More

I am not one to leave bad reviews, but this place was the worst food we had in Venice. We walked in and attempted to place our order only to be informed by the waiter that we can't order either the fish risotto, the vegetable...More

Stumbled across this trattoria while traversing Venice. Quiet excellent service and home made pasta. Worth searching out.

We visited this restaurant three times when we were in Venice (sept 17) Can't praise it enough for all areas. I tried the fish, the chicken, the steak meals. All of them were very nice, great flavour and tasty, (starters and mains). The staff were...More

My wife and I had been wandering around comparing restaurants when we were welcomed into this very busy establishment. Almost fully booked but a small table for two was found. The service was excellent and the waiter (Michael?) was very friendly and had such good...More

I loved this restaurant- it's a bit pokey and the décor is eclectic (weird bits and bobs from all over the place). The staff are charming; they flit between the tables, shouting at each other in good-natured jest and addressing the customers in English, French...More

Spent a nights in Venice post-cruise and stumbled across this little gem late one evening. Something to suit us all on the menu including a teenage vegetarian. All food was delicious. Staff were delightful and hospitality was second-to-none. Lovely ambience in the place. Also, very...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
