This restaurant is located in a non touristic area and by going in you immediately notice that the clients are locals in their lunch break. The menu is not too extended which is a great sign , the wine list somehow is extended which also is a very good sign . The dishes also refined and with interesting combinations always... More

We have eaten at Acqua Pazza 3-4 times every time we visit Venice. We love the dinner al fresco on the quiet piazza or Campo. The food is good especially the seafood plates. We loved the after dinner Limoncello but I fell in love with the meloncello! I may go back just for that divine drink

Very good restaurant. The owner manages his establishment with eagle-eyed precision. The pizza was excellent. They served bruschetta, cookies and different flavored after dinner digestive, with each meal and at no charge. We ate here three times during our two week stay. Situated in Campo San Angelo in San Marco. Try any of the pasta, the fried zucchini appetizer and... More

We were sent to this restaurant for our first lunch in Venice by our hotel. We sat indoors because it was chilly. They offered a complementary bruschetta plate with another appetizer. We asked how big the pizzas were and were told they were big enough for.one person. After eating procsuitto and the complementary ağpetizers we were surprised to see how... More

Bad experience here. The food took 45 minutes to arrive and when it did it was cold. I explained to the waiter the issues and had a very blunt reply. Give this one a wide berth not worth the money or your time.

We ate here Friday night after a recommendation from our hotel... It was the worse meal we had in Venice during our stay. The settling is lovely in a quiet square with another restaurant opposite. We both ordered from the set menu at $40 each which looked nice. 35 minutes later we still had not received our food so my... More

This Amalfitan place is a great, family-run restaurant, with an amazing location. Dining on Campo Sant'Anzolo is a unique experience, and the fresh fish is superbe. I strongly recommend the Scialiatelli Amalfitana and the fruit ice-cream

What could be more delightful than a huge plate of artichoke pasta leisurely savored al fresco in one of Venice's charming squares? My al dente pasta with thin slices of artichoke hearts was enjoyable, as was the generous mixed salad. Best of all were slices of bruschetta overflowing with ripe, deftly seasoned tomatoes. The tiramisu was quite above average for... More

Description
Tables laid on a magnificent terrace under the stars or in the elegant indoor dining room, in the enchanting settings of Campo Sant’Angelo, the Ristorante Acqua Pazza and its cuisine are an exclusive and extraordinary piece of Amalfi in Venice.
Each recipe is the fruit of authentic Amalfi cuisine, each dish is exquisitely prepared with quality fresh ingredients, always accompanied by Campania wines that enhance the Mediterranean flavors.
The delicious appetizers and sublime fish dishes, mouth-watering pasta, magnificent Neapolitan pizza and cordial Iennaco family have won over those who love Venice and fine dining.

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
