This is a wonderful place to go for a glass of wine and some cicchetti before dinner. The selection of wine is outstanding and the staff are great at providing advice and suggestions on what to try. The cicchetti are excellent, location ideal and service...super-friendly and casual.More

Sitting alongside the small Canale with a nice glass of wine and some tapas is an event by itself. Friendly, relaxed and delicious.

Staff were friendly and making the best of the difficult Covid situation; wines were delicious and recommendations freely given. Star of the show is the cicchetti, which are varied, imaginative, delicious and cheap. Come early to get one of the tables overlooking the canal (otherwise...loom ominously over people who look like they're about to leave).More

This place had been recommended to us. Unfortunately we hadn't reserved a table but they managed to accommodate us for 30 mins which was just right for a glass of chilled rose and to sample the very tasty cicchetti. Would have loved to stay the...evening - chilling by the canal - sampling more. :-)More

Went there twice on one day. Really funky wines by the glass and beautiful artisanal Cicchetti. I love that street anyways and VeroVino makes it special.

Lovely service in this canal side bar in charming Canareggio. Best chicchetti we’ve eaten this trip to Venice and tasty wine . Highly recommend.

Very small with limited seating inside, typical of a cicchetti place. Lots of locals were frequenting when we visited. Food and wine were lovely, we ordered again and again and the staff were prompt and polite. They accept credit cards. There is seating on the...canal side for warmer and dryer weather. An awning will shield those outside from wind or rain. Plenty of choice of chichetti and wine. Would really recommend and certainly would like to return.More

Stopped by late at night, shared the outdoor tables with a few locals and some other tourists. The cicchetti was tasty, but I recommend not waiting too late into the night as the selection was dwindling when we got there. Their selection of wines was...excellent, and the price was reasonable!More

We had a bunch of chiccetti and prosecco. The Prosecco was nice and ok price too 4€ a glass. The chiccetti cost 2,5€ each and was worth it. The best thing was the atmosphere, sat at a table by the canal, lots of both locals...and Italian tourists was sitting along the canal or roaming the dock. Very nice areaMore

Delicious wine and Italian tapas! On the canal... sshhh... don’t tell too many others! Service on a Sunday was fine and very quiet after 1pm.

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
