Amazing cicchetti, among the best in town! Great place, cozy and relaxed, good choice of wines. The business is run by a cohort of nice guys, very kind and attentive to the customers. Let you them suggest the right wine for you. Strongly recommended!

A wonderful little place away from the crowds of tourists. Small - so only room for a few people. But amazing selection of wines by the glass, and to buy as a take away bottle. And the Cichetti - although all Bruscetta based - are...More

Honestly, I was very impatient to try out this place and I was absolutely not disappointed at least at the beginning. The selection of wine and the quality of food is excellent, great location as well. All good, until the woman behind the bar decided...More

We first went to Vino Vero because it was right next to the apartment we stayed at and it was so busy ever night we knew it must be good. After that we were regulars. The wine selection is wide and excellent. We were given...More

We came across VinoVero by accident while strolling in Canareggio and decided to stop for a few cichetti. This was one of the best meals my partner and I have had in Venice. The little sandwiches are fresh and affordable (2.50 euros) each as supposed...More

This bar was close to our hotel so thought we would stop in for drinks before dinner. The bar itself is beautifully presented and was very busy - for good reason. They drinks selection was vast and the wine we did have was delicious.

Tiny, well-reputed, canalside bacari bar in the Canareggio district, thankfully a bit away from the main tourist drags. No room inside, but tables outside. Especially inventive cicchetti - the slice of mature parmesan on what seemed an orange marmalade spread was amazing - and loved...More

Delicious vino, delicious cichetti, great little wine bar. Just don’t ask for spritz. So good we came back again, having visited a couple of Christmasses ago where we found very friendly staff. Situated in Cannaregio. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
