After a long day in Venice, I was in search of a drink and a nice place to relax. Many of the bars in this area are expensive, but it's the experience that makes it worthwhile. The waiters at Bar Longhi were all exceptionally friendly....More

Just crazy priced. €18.00 for a Prosecco is not cool no matter the place. View was good and ambient but to pricey.

This hotel is too expensive for us, but the first thing we do after checking in our hotel in Venice is head to the Gritti Palace Bar Longhi for a couple of drinks. The Bellini's are great WHEN the white peaches are in season. (Better...More

Before our recent visit to Venice i dreamed of sipping champagne overlooking the canals of Venice. So how lucky that on arriving at Bar Longhi @ The fabulous Gritti Palace that a table was available, sadly not one with a view. However, we ordered a...More

Beautiful cocktails with an equally beautiful view. Our waiter really looked after us and was very attentive. A must in Venice.

Stunning location, impeccable service. They even remembered us when we came back a few days later. Cocktails are priced as you’d expect. After those we had tea and scones which was incredible. Really recommend

We arrived early evening and sat inside on the comfortable sofa. We choose cocktails and were pleasantly impressed with the skill of the bar tender. The interiors are beautifully sumptuous with impeccable service and good selection of hot and cold nibbles. Cocktails varied from €18...More

Every bit as comfortable and charming as the photos suggest. The gentlemen behind the bar are friendly and efficient. If you're beat down by the swarms of tourists Bar Longhi offers perfect recuperation; plush, attractive, uncrowded, a little dark and quiet.

Bar Longhi in the Gritti Palace offers excellent drinks and service (you have to have a Bellini during white peach season) on the Grand Canal, and along with the views and drinks, offers (seemingly) endless bowls of free olives and crisps to go with the...More

After a long active tour through Northern Italy — made even longer by some of the rudest, most obnoxious people I’ve ever traveled with — I needed a special treat before a 6:00 flight the next morning. Bar Longhi was the perfect antidote. Let’s see:...More

They definitely take walk-ins. I don’t know if they even take reservations for the outside bar area. Perhaps for large groups?
