Enjoyed a lovely GF pizza and salad for lunch here. Hostess was very friendly and attentive. Amongst the best views along this street. Good value. Wish we had discovered this place sooner.

We walked 12 minutes from San Marco square to find the Snack Bar Castello after searching online for gluten free food. We were not disappointed. The gluten free pizza was delicious and great value especially for Venice. The waitress spoke good English and looked after...us well. Having a dietary restriction sometimes mars the joy of eating out whilst on holiday but this little gem of a cafe provided a wonderful lunch and delicious spritz too!More

A really lovely place to sit and eat, watching the world go by. Service was prompt, staff were friendly and helpful, and they had a wide range of gluten free options. Food was really tasty.

During our week in Venice we went here 3 times. Lunch, Dinner, Drink....Whatever! The food is good, the portions are large enough for a normal person, we never managed appetizer and main dish. The staff is lovley and the price more than affordable. Grazie!

The pizza and pasta are absolutely delicious, from personal experience, the frutti di mare pizza ( seafood) and the Spaghetti alle vongole (clams) are top notch.

Very friendly staff (Tanya). Was made to feel very welcome. A shame we were only able to visit twice. Lovely food. Ideal location for the hotel we stayed at. Hope we get to visit again when next in Venice x

We visited it after long walking in Venice. We ordered lasagna and pasta. Pineapple dessert was delicious. Many thanks to the waitress - she was very pleasant, attentive, also speaks in 3 languages. At the end of the dinner we got welcome cocktail - lemoncello....The prices are average, food was tasty. We spent good few evening hours here.More

Just off the beaten track with a nice vibe, the bar is pretty cheap for drinks and snacks. One of the biggest offputting things was the lady had a little bit of attitude. She seemed disinterested and somehow disgruntled but then warmed up

The worst place ever. I asked for a salmon, 15 euros, it was the worst I ever had. It looks like fast food. And the attendant was very rude. Avoid this horrible “restaurant”.

The place has a really great view but we were really disappointed when we realised that all the pizzas looked the same part from the different toppings and then after the first bit we understood why, super frozen, a bit overcharged for a 2£ frozen...pizza. Great SpritzMore
