Food was tasty but I had eaten mine whilst we waited for my partners. It was a long wait to get our breakfast and had only ordered a sandwich and ham and egg.

We visited here for breakfast a couple of times, very friendly staff, very good prices for breakfast and very accomodating. Can't recommend this place highly enough compared with other close by places we visited for breakfast.

Santa Croce
Santa Croce gained importance as a sestiere (district)
when Piazzale Roma was created in the 1930s to bring
cars and buses close to the center of Venice.
Constitution Bridge spans the Grand Canal linking
Piazzale Roma to the train station. This area buzzes
with energy from travelers and students. Historic
palaces and former industrial buildings house some
departments of Ca' Foscari and IUAV Architecture
