Read the reviews that were already given so decided to give it a go... Pretty easy to find a very small shop but the shop owner was very nice and friendly. We tried the winter sausage pizza and the other half tried the ham and aubergine both were great and very tasty. Highly recommend you to try this when you... More

Filling and delicious 😋 we loved it! Great location just in the center of venezia and you can buy a slice (3.5€) and sit on the stairs near by while eating.

The food was good, the price very decent, and the service was very good. Personnel is very courteous and helpful in their explanations. Very good place for a quick lunch. Would recommend to everyone.

We accidentally found this place. I knew it was going to be good because you could see them making the pizzas, including the dough bases. It was fab and definitely worth checking out!

This is the real stuff. Been having pizzas on my trip in Italy and finally when I was getting bored stuffing myself to with pizzas, this one revived my love for pizzas. I know there should be many other places the locals can recommend but this one is easy to find. Just beside the Rialto Bridge and opposite the Hard... More

We found this little slice of heaven (excuse the pun) tucked into the corner of a side street at the base of the Rialto bridge on the San Marco side. For 3 euros a slice, and the slices are enormous and so tasty, it's exceptional value. Do yourself a favour and stop by for the best tasting pizza in Venice!

We were just walking by this place. The pizza's looked so good that we got two 'expensive' kinds, 7 euro's for both slices. Delicious and filling. And the staff is very friendly, they make you smile instantly.

The Food here was pretty ok. Nothing outstanding but the service was very awesome, and they were very helpful with directions on the surrounding attractions which was very appreciative. I would definitely eat here again if I ever go to venice again.

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
