Friendly staff (if under a little pressure) who seated me quickly. Food and drinks fine - nice pizza, and a waiter who made helpful suggestions - but the prices seem high even by London standards.

Ok, so I haven’t tried all the pizzas in Venice but I have had a lot of them over the years and none of them have been as good as Rossopomodoro. Reasonable prices and very near to St.Mark’s square. There are many worse places for...a lunchtime snack!More

The best pizzas of our trip and staff very happy to amend the meu etc to suit what we wanted. Really good price for Venice which is usually overpriced. We ate here 3 times in 3 days! Great location just off St Marks.

Solo diner, attended to by delightful staff! Dinner was simple yet delicious with a Fritturina starter, followed by a platter of Parma prosciutto with melone, mix tomatoes (superb!), a huge Bufala cheese, on pizza bread! Washed down with beer! So good!!

My partner and I had dinner here in mid August. We booked a table online through the first with 20% off and asked for a table outside. We were taken by the amount of reviews we found on google for this place. When arrived, no...table was available and we waited 12 minutes outside as someone finished their meal. We were then sat in front of the neighbouring store, which had a metal garage-like door down and we had very little lighting. I think they were speeding out as the store was closed in the evening. The service was fast, the food arrived quickly and the buffalos mozzarella was very good, I highly recommend this dish. The waiter came to our table three times with the wrong orders (some other table’s) and the discount from the fork was not added at the end. Overall the dinner was alright, the pizza being delicious made up for some of the negatives but it definitely felt chain-like and not an authentic vénitien dinner, if that’s what you’re after!More

A good value restaurant with a solid menu and ingredients. Atmosphere is much of a ‘chain’ so would recommend popping in for lunch rather than dinner.

Stumbled across this gem during a day trip to Venice last year and was looking forward to visit it again. Super fresh and delicious food! If you want to try a wood fired oven cooked pizza, this is the only and the best place to...do so!! Staff!! This location has a great set of people. We had got the chance to meet the manager ( Ion ) and I was surprised how he had managed everything. He’s such an intelligent, knowledgeable, friendly and hardworking young man. Highly recommend this restaurant!Definitely worth to visit ROSSOPOMODORO!More

First of all, we waited more than hour for two pizzas, even if after half an hour the second part of the restaurant was empty. Nobody even apologized. After that, the fun began. The owner of the restaurant should definitely invest and buy some equipment....I would love to see him cut the food with what they call a knife. Honestly, we had to finish eating with our hands because we would spend the night there cutting our pizzas. We saw 6 another person fighting with their knifes as hard as us. This was ridiculous. If you want me to pay 2,5€ for service, try to supply something I could call so.More

Er, in my humble opinion it is the best pizza in town. Ate here twice, both for lunch. Pizza's are fantastic, love the base, thicker and chewy, yum. Also this time had the Pannacotta with Frutti di Bosco, OMG, gorgeous. 0.4l draft beer 5 euros,...0.5l aqua 1.50 euros, and wine 4.50 euros. Pizza's fluctuate in price 7 to 13 euros I think - we had diavolo 9.50. Pannacotta is 4 euro. Service is good. Always eat here when in Venice and normally more than once as I love the pizza. It is close to St Marks, and you will not get ripped off as some of the local restaurants have a reputation of doing - happened to my father-in-laws partner!! Highly recommended.More
