What can I say? A delicious steaming and flavourful box of pasta for very little euro, made fresh to order as you wait for a minute or two. My son loved loved loved it and was asking to return throughout our trip. Well worth it but please note that there is no seating.

Me and my girlfriend have already been here two nights in a row.
The pasta cooking point is excellent and sauces are very tasty, while also being incredibly cheap.
Most notable things are the great customer service (really friendly personnel) and the speed at which the food is served (1-2 minutes after ordering I was already eating).
I would totally reccomend coming here.

Decided upon arriving at Venice that I must try this place for carry out Pasta. Certainly worth a visit. Ordered fresh pasta carbonara with parmesan cheese and extra bacon for only €8. It was absolutely beautiful and so filling, just grab a nice spot nearby to sit and enjoy. Top Stars!!

My partner and went to the wrong place first time.
As we got lost (not for the first time)
But we eventually found this and I am so happy we did all cooked fresh to order piping hot and delicious.
The guy who served us was cheery and chatty even though it was busy well worth finding for a nice cheap lunch/dinner.
Give it a try.

We decided to go to this place as we heard it had good pasta to go. My gosh were they not kidding on this- the guy who served me (Matteo) was so friendly and super attentive, I could tell he was passionate about the place.
People, please if you are in Venice then you HAVE to go to this place. We dined in way more expensive places in Venice, and this budget pasta was hands down the best.

Dal Moro’s Fresh Pasta To Go is awesome! My wife and I were looking for some fresh pasta quick while roaming around Venice we were actually heading to a different place and saw this little place and people were hanging out the door. My first thought was this must be a good place but it’s going to take forever and within minutes they were serving people so fast we were in the door ordering 5 mins later and eating in 10mins. The food is delicious and even though that box looks small neither of us could finish all the pasta they gave us. Both of our choices were great and I don’t think you could go wrong grabbing pasta here. And last but not least Matteo makes you feel so welcome it feels like you are walking into someone’s home for some food. Thanks Matteo for making this experience so awesome!

It is difficult to find good and filling vegetarian food in Venice. We stumbled across this place and went back twice!! Vegetarian and vegan pasta. Freshly prepared from scratch. What more could a person need?! Service with a smile. It was a takeaway when we went with a few seats inside. In my opinion it was much better than paying for overpriced vegetarian food in some of the other places where we still felt hungry after eating.

We arrived a bit late but they still wanted to serve us!
Excellent food, lovely owner.
We even got a tiramisu for free because they thought they made a mistake (they did not).
Thanks for the Italian experience!

We first visited Dal Moro in 2015. At that time we loved it (ate thrice at the same place) but this time around was a huge disappointment. It seemed commercialised or sold to someone who didn’t care. We spent 18 euros for 2 pastas to go. The elderly gentleman at the counter didn’t smile or bother to help us select our pasta. He just wanted us to pay cash and get on with it. The pasta itself was thick, the pesto sauce had a strange smell in it and the taste of the red sauce pasta and pesto were below average. We came with high expectations but don’t think we’ll ever visit Dal Moro again!

Great little find with great service and great food. My wife and I came here our first night in Venice and everyday of our trip after. I was blown away on the different languages the staff spoke once they found out where each person was from. You need to stop here if you love hot tasty pasta for a great price with exceptional friendly service.

Hole in the wall freshly made and cooked pasta to go akin to Chinese take-outs. A great concept and very convenient for those who are not looking for a proper sit-down meal. For a take out pasta at the price point it offered, it’s certainly good value for money with an element of fun. Portions were substantial, pasta were cooked al dente, and the sauces were reasonably good (for a pasta express). Freshly prepared and served piping hot although the tall box (while easy to hold) made it a bit difficult to eat standing up on the sidewalk. Andreas was really funny and friendly - he came out to say hello and punctuated every sentence with a lah! when he found out we were from Singapore.

Disaster. That’s a place for tourists who don’t know what a good pasta is. I’m Italian and I can tell you, I’ve never eaten a pasta that bad. I ordered a carbonara and they put ham instead of italian bacon or guanciale. Unacceptable. Even worse was the pasta itself. It seemed like it wasn’t regular pasta but rice pasta. It has nothing to do with Italian pasta. Bleh. On top of that, at the bottom of my box, the pasta was sticky and the carbonara souce was missing. Instead, the pasta was topped with melted butter. Terrible, guys. I’m sorry, I feel scammed. Btw, the people working there got mad when I asked if they can put pecorino cheese on my carbonara. I even asked if they put sour cream in it. They said “no” but at this point I don’t believe them.

It’s a small takeaway counter, absolutely no space to sit. They had only one vegan pasta option with a choice of 4 vegan toppings (mushrooms, olives etc)- but it was so good! Amazing flavours and pasta was perfectly cooked. A super comforting and filling meal for the price.
Only issue is hunting for a place to peacefully eat the meal- the owner recommends a nearby piazza where it’s difficult to find any place to sit, so had to stand and eat out meal.

Dal Moro's Fresh Pasta in the Castello neighborhood of Venice is a fantastic spot for a quick and affordable meal. For just 7.5 euros, you can get a delicious serving of fresh pasta that is perfect for a grab-and-go meal.
Although there is no seating available, the service is fast and efficient, making it an ideal option for a quick bite. The menu also includes vegan options.
I tried the pasta romana and it was absolutely delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was flavorful and creamy without being too heavy.
Overall, I highly recommend Dal Moro's Fresh Pasta for a quick and tasty meal in Venice. It's affordable and convenient.

Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighborhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
