It's quick, cheap and easy to grab something from Crazy Pizza. The food is quite good! We grabbed pizza one time and wraps(?) another time.

Amazing pizza for a great price. I ate a grande, and it was great. I couldn't even finish the whole thing and I'm 2 meters and 100 kg+, all for a cost of 12,5 euros! Try it!

Loved this little place. Pretty sure it cost me about €6 for a rolled pizza & a beer. Great idea with quick service. My other half was given a slice of pizza bigger than her head! Friendly guys working there as well.

We had strolled past Crazy Pizza many times over the weekend, so we felt obliged to try the food as it always seemed popular and the menu looked great value for money. My sister opted for the deal with a pizza slice and a drink however I chose to share a large pizza with my mum and sister, which worked... More

I have been looking forward to trying this pizza since we booked our trip to Italy and i can honestly say it was nothing special. The slice i had was barely warm and it didnt taste that good. My boyfriend is a pizza lover and decided to try two slices, both of which were mediocre. However as Venice is very... More

Situated on what I would call a main side street in Venice this shop is PERFECT for the lunchtime snack. Base was crispy and fresh. Red sauce perfect (not sloppy like I've had before). Toppings perfect for a Quattro Staggioni (although obviously not sectioned like they normally would be). Pizza can be sold In slices, similar size to those of... More

After a terrible pizza experience yesterday, we came back to our hotel and checked reviews on pizza places in Venice. Crazy Pizza was not only very highly rated, with great reviews, but it was also close to our hotel. We went for an early lunch and ordered a slice of pepperoni to share. It came steaming hot. First bite was... More

Great and cheap pizza "on the go". We decided to have our "antipasti" here, on a way to Osteria Ae Sconte. We shared a slice of simple margarita pizza. It was perfectly made. Full of flavour and perfectly cooked/baked. We loved this place. Really cheap as well. No chairs/tables, but a perfect "take away" hole in the wall type of... More

Small pizza shop east of the Rialto Bridge, great pizza and only 2.50 for a large slice.

Staying in Castello

Neighborhood Profile
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighborhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
